Brief Introduction
Jiangmen 江门 is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, an important node city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area粤港澳大湾区, and an important transportation hub connecting the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong, and Macao with western Guangdong.
Jiangmen is located in the west of the Pearl River Delta. Pengjiang District is adjacent to Zhongshan Guzhen town in the east, Enping city of Jiangmen is adjacent to Yangjiang river in the west, and Heshan city of Jiangmen is adjacent to Gaoming District of Foshan city in the north. The landform features low in the north and high in the west, belonging to the subtropical monsoon climate. Jiangmen has a long history and profound cultural heritage and is one of the representative cities of Guangfu culture.
Jiangmen has jurisdiction over 3 municipal districts and 4 county-level cities, with a total area of 9,506.92 square kilometers.
