What are worth visiting and seeing?
Shanzidou Peek is located 15 kilometers north of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, with an altitude of 5596 meters. It belongs to the Yulong Snow Mountain range. It is the peak with the lowest latitude and the highest altitude in the northern hemisphere of the world. It is located in the northwest of Lijiang, Yunnan Province, China, with a north-south trend. It is about 13 kilometers wide from east to west and 35 kilometers long from north to south. It is opposite Haba snow mountain and the Jinsha River surges in it.
Ganhaizi甘海子 is located at the eastern foot of Yulong Snow Mountain. It was originally an Alpine glacial lake. Later, due to the rise of the snow line, the ponding decreased and dried up. It is called “Ganhaizi干海子”. Ganhaizi is a plateau meadow surrounded by mountains on three sides, which can take a panoramic view of Yulong Snow Mountain. The whole meadow is about 4 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide, covered with dense grass and low shrubs.
Ganhaizi is the tourist distribution center of the Yulong Snow Mountain tourist area, which can provide tourists with food, accommodation, travel, entertainment, shopping, and other services. It has the longest fairway in the world, the highest altitude in Asia, and the only golf course at the foot of snow mountains.
Lijiang theater is located in Ganhaizi, 3100 meters above sea level, with the peaks of Snow Mountain as the natural background. Lijiang is a live performance of the original ecology during the day directed by directors Zhang Yimou张艺谋, Wang Chaoge王潮歌, and Fan Yue樊跃.
Blue Moon Valley蓝月谷 scenic spot is the former “Baishui River” scenic spot, located in the valley north of Ganhaizi at the east foot of Yulong Snow Mountain and south of Yunshanping云杉坪. After the melting of the ancient ice and snow from the snow mountain glacier, it flows down the cliff and continuously converges into mountain streams and streams, and finally forms a clear and sweet river in the deep valley at the upper reaches of the blue moon valley.
Because the riverbed is composed of white limestone, the whole river presents a white luster and appears extraordinarily pure, so it is named “Baishui River”. The reason why it is called “Blue Moon Valley” is that on a sunny day, the color of the water is blue, and the valley is crescent-shaped. From a distance, it looks like a blue moon inlaid at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain, so it is called Blue Moon Valley.
