Located in GUILIN city, the world famous scenic historical city, Guilin University of Electronic Technology named as GUET for short is founded in 1960, and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
GUET is also one of the nominated universities of “National Basic Ability Construction Project for Western and Central China” . GUET offers 74 bachelor programs including 23 national first-class programs, 19 programs have passed the certification of China Engineering Education Accreditation Association, 1 national comprehensive reform pilot program and 5 national characteristic programs, and 21 master programs for first level discipline which covering 12 academic filed.
