2. Application Deadline of Master of Business Administration with Scholarship

(1)There are two Admission Rounds, with a first come, first served rule.

The Deadline for Round 1 : May 15^th , 2025

The Deadline for Round 2 : June 30^th , 2025

A third round of applications may be opened depending on the number of applications received this year. Please stay tuned to the relevant announcements on CAU’s admissions website.

(2) An interview is conducted in each round. Eligible candidates will be invited to interview once.

3. Type of the Master of Business Administration with Scholarship

4. Criteria and Eligibility of Master of Business Administration with Scholarship

(1) Non-Chinese citizens;

(2) Physically and mentally healthy, meet the physical examination requirements for Chinese Visa or Residence Permit applicants in China and the physical examination requirements of the major to study in CAU to ensure normal study and life in China;

(3) Have no violation of disciplines, no records of public security punishment or of criminal conduct; be friendly to China and behave well; comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect Chinese customs and manners;

(4) Applicants should hold a valid Bachelors degree and be under the age of 35;

(5) Have TOEFL (iBT) score of 80 points at least, IELTS score of 6.0 at least, or other relevant certificates of English as the working and learning language that will qualify as a proof for university study. If student does not have certificate of English proficiency, an online interview will be arranged by the university for testing the English proficiency.

(6) GPA above 3.0. Meet the admission requirements of the applied universities in terms of academic ability and other relevant criteria.

5.  Application Materials

(1) Copy of Passport Home Page. If the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before December 2025), please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;

(2) Notarized highest diploma. Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;

(3) Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards). Copies of academic records from first to last semester during the undergraduate, graduate (if any) shall be provided. These transcripts shall be issued and sealed by the attending university’s academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department. They can be in Chinese or English, but must be attached with notarized English translations if they are in foreign languages other than English;

(4) Personal statement: Please indicate in the personal statement whether you accept Scholarship A or Scholarship B in case of an unsuccessful application of the Merit Scholarship, and upload your personal statement at the upload button of  “other documents”.

(5) Study plan: Your interests in this subject, the knowledge and research areas you would like to study in this program. Your statement is no less than 2,000 words (double space, 12pt);

(6) Applicants who will graduate must submit Expectation Certificate of Graduation;

(7) Recommendation letters from two associate professors or scholars with higher academic titles. There is no specified format for the recommendation letters and all letters must be signed by the referee;

(8) Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners (available at http://www.csc.edu.cn/uploads/forms/foreinphy.pdf);

(9) Visa information (only required for students in China);

(10) No criminal report (issued by the public security department);

(11) Any published academic papers, patents, or other academic achievements (originals or copies);

NOTE: All documents should be written in Chinese or English. All the original documents will be checked upon enrollment.

6.  Application Procedure

(1) Student has options to apply for three types of Scholarships. Please read the detailed information about the Merit Scholarship, Scholarship A and Scholarship B on the chart of Type of CAU Scholarships.

(2) The application procedures of the three types of Scholarships are the same, the procedures are followings:

①　Register at CAU Application Portal: http://apply.cau.edu.cn  

②　Please choose “China Agricultural University Scholarship”. Then you start to fill out and apply.

Please indicate in the personal statement whether you accept Scholarship A or Scholarship B in case of an unsuccessful application of the Merit Scholarship, and upload your personal statement at the upload button of  “other documents”.

③　Accomplish CAU Application Form for International Students and pay Application Fee 400 CNY. If you have not received the activation email, please check your Junk/Others folder in your email.

④　Please keep track of your application status after submission in the Application Portal.
