Shenyang Aerospace University
Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) is founded in 1952 and located in Shenyang. During the past 70 years, Shenyang Aerospace University has developed into an academic center, housing teaching buildings, research laboratories, a library which is both an architectural and cultural icon, a theater building, sports arena, swimming center and student’s activity centers having 600.000 square meters of floor space and cover200,000 square meters of landscaped gardens. Other services such as the school hospital, comfortable accommodations and a number of dining halls are also provided.
The university has 1,500 staffs, and boasts an attendance of more than 20,000 students. While focusing on engineering disciplines, SAU’s scope has been enhanced with curricula covering such areas as science, management and liberal arts. The university has 55 disciplines for undergraduate study, 23 disciplines for master degrees, and 3 programs for PhDs. SAU degrees are recognized around the world.
SAU prides itself on its practical teaching system which includes basic, professional and general practice.
There are numerous first-rate labs for the students, some at national level.
SAU is also proud of its Aircraft Maintenance Center, which is the only one in China approved by the China Civil Aviation Authority to issue licenses to maintain helicopters, Authorization of fixed-wing aircraft maintenance licenses is anticipated soon. There are 30 aircrafts provided for the students to practice with on the campus.
Internationalization is one of the characteristics of SAU, SAU has established cooperative agreements with more than 100 universities and institutions from more than50 countries. SAU provides Bachelor, Master, Doctoral, and Chinese Language Programs to international students. Thousands of students have graduated from SAU and started their career life successfully.

Chinese Language Program
Duration: 0.5/1 Year
Introduction
Chinese Language program is designed for international students to improve their Chinese language skills. It covers listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and includes cultural studies and exam preparation. There are no specific language prerequisites, making it accessible to students with various proficiency levels. Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the program.

Qualification Requirements
Undergraduate Program: Under the age of 25, senior high school graduation or with equivalent qualification of 12-year education background. Mathematics. physics and chemistry with 60% of total marks results are necessary for engineering degree courses.
Postgraduate Program: Under the age of 35, a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline.
Doctoral Program: Under the age of 40, a master degree or equivalent qualification with the degree belongs to the relevant discipline of the chosen doctoral degree program.
Chinese Language Training Program: Age between 18-25
English competence certificates:
-Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from proof of English language proficiency.
-The applicants that use English as the language of instruction at high school, may use the language certificate issued by the high school.
-If the applicant does not meet any of above criteria, then lELTS or TOFEL result is preferred.
-If the applicant cannot provide any English competence certificate mentioned above, SAU will evaluate the applicant’s English level by checking the English self. introduction video and English result on the transcript.

Twin Room: 7.200 CNY/ Year 2 bedrooms and 1 washroom in 1 apartment. 2 students in 1 bedroom and shared washroom. *The accommodation fee shall be paid at least by year according to actual VISA length, which may be 13 or 14 months. One semester Chinese Language program applicants shall pay 6 months accommodation fee. |
