3. Scholarship
(1) Free tuition
(2) Off campus Accommodation subsidy
(3) Living expenses: Master’s students 3,000 CNY/month; Doctoral students 3,500 CNY /month.
(4) Medical insurance: 800 CNY/person/year
4. Eligibility
(1)be a citizen from Vietnam, Thailand, Algeria, Morocco, Ghana, Rwanda, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and be in good health; For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, the conditions set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China should be meet;
(2) be an academically excellent holder of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 30 when applying for a Master’s program;
be an academically excellent holder of a Master’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program;
(3) have TOEFL results not lower than 85 or IELTS results not lower than 6.0.
5. Application Procedure
(1)Complete the online application procedure at CGS Information Management System for International Students (Visit http://www.campuschina.org), submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, and submit the related documents;

6. Application Documents
(1)Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (Chinese or English);
(2) A scanned copy of the Passport Information Page (Expiry date later than September 2025). If the validity of the current passport does not meet the requirement, please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;
(3)Diploma and certificate of highest education. An applicant who is a current university student shall submit the certificate of expected graduation or student status issued by his/her university;
(4)Academic transcripts. Transcripts should include results from the undergraduate, master’s (if any), doctoral (if any) stage to the most recent semester. Transcripts should be issued and stamped by the academic affairs office, graduate school or the student administration department. Transcripts should be provided in Chinese/English. If the transcript is in a language other than English, an English translation must be provided and notarized;
(5) Certificate of language proficiency. An applicant shall provide a certificate of English proficiency, such as the IELTS or TOEFL test report, or other documents to proof English proficiency;
(6)A study plan written in English (no less than 1500 words) (Study Plan Template);
(7)Recommendation letters. Applicants for graduate programs must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors;
(8)Applicants must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority). The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months;
(9)Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.
7. Evaluation and Interview
We will select the best candidates for interview according to the submitted materials of students. Interview date will be announced afterwards. Please pay attention to your email timely.
8. Scholarship Confirmation
(1) We shall submit the list of recommended candidates and materials to CSC.
(2) CSC will organize relevant institutions and experts to conduct qualification and academic review of the recommended candidates to determine the admission candidates.
(3) CSC will notify us of the admission result, and we will notify the applicant.
