Story Of Flowers Over the Spring Moonlight River
The music score of this Pipa song was first seen in the pipa score of XianXuYouYin handed down by Ju Shilin (about 1736-1820).
This is an elegant and beautiful lyric music. It is like a landscape painting. It shows us the charming natural scenery of the quiet night in spring, the moon rising in the East Mountain, the boat rippling on the river and the shadow of flowers gently swaying on the West Bank. The music vividly depicts the charming scenery of the spring river on a moonlit night through euphemistic and simple melody, smooth and changeable rhythm, ingenious and exquisite orchestration and meticulous performance, and fully praises the charm of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River.
The whole song is like a fine brush, soft color, beautiful and elegant landscape painting, which is fascinating.
This song is expanded into 10 sections, which are:
1、 Sunset flute and drum;
2、 The stamens scatter and return air;
3、 Guanshan is close to the moon;
4、 The setting sun near the water;
5、 The autumn sound of maple and grass;
6、 Wuxia Qianxun;
7、 The sound of Xiao in the mangrove;
8、 Overlooking the river at night;
9、 Fishing boats sing late;
10、 In the shadow of the setting sun, I returned to the boat.
The painting and rhyme scene described in the music “Flowers Over the Spring Moonlight River” makes people dream back to the Tang Dynasty, and then infinitely feel the myriad atmosphere, majestic and vast feeling of the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty.
