3.1 Bachelor’s Programs

Application Eligibility

• Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, be in good health with good conduct, and abide by laws and regulations of the Chinese government as well as rules and regulations of the school.
• Applicants who apply for a bachelor’s degree shall have a high school education or above, and generally no more than 35 years old.
• Applicants’ academic achievement and language ability shall satisfy the entrance requirements of the applied majors, wherein a new HSK Grade-4 certificate or one-year Chinese study at USTL in advance is a necessity for a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Lectures, and a 4-point IELTS score (or equivalent level) in English Lectures.

• Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, be in good health with good conduct, and abide by laws and regulations of the Chinese government as well as rules and regulations of the school.
• Applicants who apply for a master’s degree shall own a bachelor’s degree and generally no more than 40 years old.
• Applicants’ academic achievement, academic level and language ability shall satisfy the entrance requirements of the corresponding majors, wherein a new HSK Grade-4 certificate or above is a necessity for a master’s degree in Chinese Lectures, and a 4-point IELTS score (or equivalent level) in English Lectures.

• Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, be in good health with good conduct, and abide by laws and regulations of the Chinese government as well as rules and regulations of the school.
• Applicants who apply for a doctor’s degree shall own a master’s degree and generally no more than 45 years old.
• Applicants’ academic achievement, academic level and language ability shall satisfy the entrance requirements of the corresponding majors, wherein a new HSK Grade-4 certificate or above is a necessity for a doctoral in Chinese Lectures, and a 4-point IELTS score (or equivalent level) in English Lectures.
