Application Requirements

1. ​Eligibility
   • Non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health, with excellent academic and moral conduct.
2. ​Academic Programs
   • ​Non-Degree Long-Term Chinese Language Program / ​Undergraduate Program:
     • High school diploma or equivalent.
     • Age ≤ 25 years.
   • ​Master’s Program:
     • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
     • Age ≤ 35 years.
   • ​Doctoral Program:
     • Master’s degree or equivalent.
     • Age ≤ 40 years.
   • ​Chinese Language Program:
     • High school diploma.
     • Age ≤ 30 years.

Application Documents

Application Portal: 

Deadline: June 30, 2025

1. Scanned copy of valid passport information page and previous Chinese visa pages (if applicable).
2. Scanned copy of highest academic diploma.
   • Current students must submit an official enrollment certificate from their institution.
3. Scanned copy of academic transcripts from highest degree obtained.
4. Police clearance certificate (with notarized Chinese translation for applicants from specific countries).
5. Scanned copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (in English; valid for 6 months).
6. Valid HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) or TOEFL/IELTS score report.
7. Resume/CV (Chinese or English).
8. Study/Research Plan in China.
9. ​For Master’s/Doctoral Applicants: Two recommendation letters from associate professors or higher (Chinese/English).
10. Supporting documents (academic papers, portfolios, awards, etc.).

1. Create an account on the online portal.
2. Complete the Application Form for Foreign Students to XAUAT.
3. Upload required documents by June 30, 2025.
4. Pay the application fee.
5. Check admission results via the portal after application review.
