About Wuhan Polytechnic University (WHPU)
Wuhan Polytechnic University, located in Wuhan City of Hubei Province known as a “thoroughfare to 9 provinces”, was founded in 1951. WHPU operates on the principle of “Basing itself on education, taking quality as the means of development, strengthening itself with talents, and highlighting its unique features.” The disciplines concerning food science are its distinct features. Besides, Agro-product Processing and Transformation and other related disciplines have distinct characteristics. Engineering is its main body. Engineering, Management, Science, Humanities, Economics, Agriculture, Art and Law develop in coordination.
Now the University has been developed into an influential multiversity. WHPU now covers an area of over 1,000,000 square meters, with the building area of 600,000 square meters. And it has 70 undergraduate specialties and 83 disciplines authorized to grant master’s degree. Currently the number of full-time students is over 20,000.

II.Application Requirements
The applicant must have a passport as the citizen of a foreign country, be well-behaved, healthy, willing to obey Chinese laws and the school regulations, and respect the Chinese customs and traditions.
Besides, the following regulations should be followed as well:
- The qualified bachelor’s degree certificate or other higher degrees;
- No criminal record.
III.Application Procedures

2.Application Materials
(1) Application Form for International students of Wuhan Polytechnic University Complete the form in English or Chinese and attach an electronic passport photo to it.
(2)The scanned copy of Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
(3)The scanned copy of Bachelor’s degree transcripts
(4)The scanned copy of the Passport
(5) Letter of Financial Guarantee from the applicant’s family
(6)Applicants who have studied in China should provide evidence of their academicperformances issued by their previous institution
(7) Non criminal record
(8)Physical examination form for foreigners
(9)Award certificate and relevant supporting materials(if any)
- Application Way
Applicants log on the website whpu.at0086.cn/Student and name the file according to its contents and upload it to the system.
* The application materials will not be returned. Applicants must be responsible for the authenticity of the submitted materials. Once false materials are found, they will be rejected directly. The application will not be processed if the application materials are incomplete.
IV.School Fees (RMB)
1.Tuition Fee：22,000 RMB /year.
2.Accommodation Fee: double room 3000 RMB/year/person , single room 6000 RMB/year/person（The expense of water, electricity, natural gas and the Internet is excluded）.The room equipped with necessary furniture, refrigerator, air conditioner, water- heater, broadband access, bathroom, etc. The specific accommodation standard shall be subject to the relevant regulations of the university.
3.Insurance Fee:1150 yuan/year (including 350 yuan college student medical insurance fee and 800 yuan commercial insurance fee). Applicants should purchase the full amount of commercial insurance required by the school before entering school.
4.Textbooks Fee: It depends on the study plan each semester.
V.University Scholarship
- Students can apply for Government Scholarship , University Scholarship and Enterprise Scholarship .
- Application Requirements:
(1)You are supposed to obey and respect the university rules and laws of China;
(2)Your scores should be above 60% for all your courses every semester;
(3)You should pay tuition, accommodation and insurance fees on time.

2023年武汉轻工大学国际学生招生简章（硕士）
武汉轻工大学创建于 1951年，位于有“九省通衢”之称的湖北省武汉市，先后隶属于原国家粮食部、商业部、国内贸易部，1998年实行中央和地方共建，以湖北省管理为主的管理体制，是国家粮食和物资储备局与湖北省人民政府共建高校、湖北省国内一流学科建设高校和湖北省第一批本科招生高校。学校现有常青和金银湖两个校区，占地面积 100万平方米；现设17个教学院（部），举办有国际教育学院和继续教育学院；全日制在校本科生、研究生 20000余人；校舍建筑面积 60 万平方米。
学校坚持面向世界，开放办学，与美国、加拿大、英国、德国、法国、意大利、澳大利亚、俄罗斯、智利、日本、韩国、印度等十几个国家的 20 余所高校和科研院所建立了国际学术交流、人才培养及科研合作。学校坚持推进国际化办学，稳步发展中外合作办学项目；积极实施世界著名科学家来鄂讲学武汉论坛，搭建国际交流平台；围绕国家“一带一路”合作倡议，实施国际学生学历教育项目，招收本科和硕士研究生两个层次的国际学生。
一、招生专业及方向（全英文授课）
应用经济学（金融学、产业经济学、国际贸易学）、工商管理（企业管理、旅游管理、技术经济与管理）、农村发展，以及《武汉轻工大学2023年硕士研究生招生目录》所列的专业及方向。按照国际学生硕士研究生人才培养方案，培养具有良好的思想和道德素质，具备深厚的企业管理理论知识和实践应用能力，具有较全面的专业素养、较强的科学研究能力和良好的沟通能力，能适应国际经济社会发展的高层次管理人才。
学制2-3年，全部课程采用英文教学。完成规定的教学计划，考核合格并通过毕业论文答辩，学校颁发硕士毕业证书，学位审查合格，授予硕士学位。
二、申请资格
身心健康，本科毕业或具有学士及以上学位，品学兼优，符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民，对华友好，无违法犯罪记录。
三、申请材料
1.《武汉轻工大学国际学生入学申请表》，用英文或中文填写，申请表上须附上2寸彩色免冠证件照；
2.本科及以上毕业证书（应届毕业生可先提供预计毕业证明）原件或扫描件，中英文均可；
3.本科或以上阶段全部课程成绩单原件或扫描件，中英文均可；
4.护照信息页，护照必须是在有效期内的普通护照；
5.家庭经济担保书；
6.已在中国境内并有在华学习经历的申请者需提供前期学习院校开据的在校表现证明；
7.无犯罪记录证明；
8.《外国人体格检查表》；
9.获奖证书及相关证明材料（如有）。
四、申请流程
1.网上申请：
1）申请时间：2023 年 3 月 15 日－2023年 8 月 15 日；
2）申请人登录网站whpu.at0086.cn/Student，将申请材料的电子档或扫描件按文件内容命名上传。
2.材料审核：
国际处（国际教育学院）负责对申请人提交的材料的完整性、真实性和规范性进行初审，并上传材料至教育部来华留学系统进行前置审查。
3.综合测评：
审查通过后，国际处（国际教育学院）和相关学院对申请人进行线上或线下面试，主要考察申请人的综合素质、语言能力、学习及学术能力，了解申请人身心健康和家庭经济状况。必要时，可增加笔试。
4.预录取：
测评通过后，国际处（国际教育学院）发放《预录取通知书》并将纸质材料上报省教育厅审核。
5.正式录取：
省教育厅审核通过后，学校向申请人发放《录取通知书》并为其办理《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202）。
6.签证办理：
申请人收到《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202）等入学文件后，持上述文件到中国驻外使领馆或武汉出入境管理部门申请办理学习签证。
7.入校报到：
申请人按照《录取通知书》规定的时间到学校报到。无故逾期 3周未到校报到视为自动放弃入学资格。
入校报到所需材料：
1）《录取通知书》；
2）本科及以上毕业证书原件；
3）彩色 2 寸登记照片 4张；
4）有效期内的商业保险保单；
5）体检证明材料。
*所有申请材料不予返还；申请人必须为提交材料的真实性负责， 虚假材料一经发现，直接拒录；申请材料不全者，申请将不予受理。
五、费用（人民币/元）
1. 学费：22000 元/学年；
2.住宿费：在房源充足情况下，3000元/人/学年（双人间）、6000元/人/学年（单人间），具体住宿情况按照学校相关规定执行；
3.保险费：约1150 元/年（含属地大学生医保350元和800 元商业保险费，申请人入境（校）前必须按学校要求足额购买保险，确保入境（校）当天保单在有效期内）；
4.教材费：根据学习计划按规定缴纳。
特别声明：
- 学校未授权任何个人或第三方以武汉轻工大学的名义向申请人收取任何费用；
- 申请人所有费用直接汇到武汉轻工大学官方财务账户(见预录取通知书)。
六、奖学金
- 符合条件的申请人可申请省政府奖学金及学校面向国际学生设置的奖学金；
- 申请基本条件:申请人必须遵守中国法律和校纪校规；申请人每学期每门课程成绩应在及格或合格以上；申请人需按时缴纳学费、住宿费和保险费。
