8-Employment advantage in China:
When it comes to economics, China has been the world’s fastest growing country for the past 30 years. Even during the financial crisis, China’s economic growth has maintained a level of 8%, a pace unthinkable in other countries. China’s GDP recently surpassed Japan’s to become the world’s second largest economy after the United States. The world’s top 500 companies all do business in China, with many choosing to base their Asia-Pacific headquarters in the bustling Chinese cities of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
9-Cuisine:
Now let’s talk about the cuisine. If you ask someone what they liked best about a place, they will almost always mention food in some way. It is in our nature. We need to eat, and if the meal is nice and you have been starving and walking around a city for a while, then it is going to be ten times nicer. Chinese cuisine is diverse, and it will vary a lot from one town to another. From hotpot to cabbage, food will follow you everywhere. That is because Chinese citizens love street markets and restaurants in general. Do not be shy and try everything. I know some things will not smell like roses, but do not be too shy about Durian or spicy tofu. And if you have been eating noodles and rice for a while and want a bit of a change, big cities like Shanghai have restaurants with a touch of western. I personally enjoyed the take of Chinese in things like pasta or pizza

10-Karaoke, arcades, and other funky entertainments:
Undergraduate students in China are usually in the library 24/7. They fight like beasts for a place in there and even eat every meal inside (trust me, I have seen it), but after a long week of never-ending work, there is a little time for fun. One piece of advice I will give you if you study in China is to avoid leaning on international students and mix a bit more with your Chinese colleagues. They are fun. The biggest plans out there are karaoke and malls. Karaoke is made for everyone and every situation. “I’m sad because I failed an exam,” she says. “Oh shit, let’s go to karaoke then.” “I have finished the semester, yay!” “Cool! Let us go to the karaoke to celebrate. ” And so on. They are sometimes situated in malls, so students go shopping or eating and then to them. Arcades are also inside malls, and they are fun! You will get to see many machines that are nowhere near our concept of an arcade.
11-Travel:
As I have mentioned before, China is a huge country with many different ways of life. Each place can feel like its own country. Cities are these marvellous technological constructions with skyscrapers and sophisticated clothing styles, but China is also small houses lost in the middle of nowhere, with old people swinging on their porches or selling food outside their houses while there are still clothes on their hanging lines. Do not be afraid to explore cities on your own, you just need a bit of Mandarin and “Amap” which is the equivalent of Google Maps. There is a Chinese app for every western app. Do not worry, they are easy to work with.

Living in China :
Living in one of the biggest countries, with the largest population in the world, life in china can be an overwhelming experience for most people. When international students decide to study in China, many of them worry about the way of life in China is completely different from their home countries, and they may have hard time to adapt their new study life in China.
Today’s life in China is not so much different from anywhere else in the world. If students are studying in major cities like Shanghai and Beijing, the lifestyle of local people has been strongly influenced by western culture. You can easily find western fast-food restaurants, supermarkets and department stores. Mobile payment apps such as Alipay and WeChat Pay transform China into a cashless society. Cash and credit card are not even necessary to carry as long as you have your mobile phone.
A lot of scholarships for international students:
One of the most important factors that international students consider when deciding to study abroad is whether they will receive financial support from either the school they are applying to or the country where the school is located, and there is no doubt that the reason for the influx of students into Chinese Universities is because the Chinese government has been offering a wide range of funding opportunities, with more than 40,000 scholarships at 277 universities.
China is developing fast and Chinese universities are rising very rapidly up the international rankings
With over 2,000 universities, and over 7 million Chinese students graduating from university each year, China has the largest network of universities and most graduates in the world. There are two different kinds of universities in China. Chinese universities, and International Universities. There are choices for everyone. Tsinghua University has recently been ranked as No.1 for Computer Science in the world.
Disadvantage of studying in China :
I have talked about all the advantages of studying in China I am not focusing on only the advantages today I would like to share some disadvantages too.
1-Language barrier
I have mentioned it earlier and I am going to mention it again language barrier could prove out to be a deal breaker for you. Being good at English does not mean you will be good at Chinese. Chinese language is whole lot different from English because it is based on characters rather than alphabets and if you are not good at Chinese you are going to have a difficult time living in China. If you are coming to China, I would highly recommend you follow Chinese pages on your Instagram and other social media platforms it would be a great help.
2-Firewall
You will be restricted from using social media without VPN. If you do not have it on your phone i would recommend you download it before coming to China. You can find alternative apps but still if you still want to use YouTube or other apps that are not allowed in China you would want to download a good VPN that works in China
Advantages China has over other countries and its rich culture :
1-Gender equality :
Women are working the same amount as men do. One side-effect might be that grandparents take care of kids or they’re sent to nursery school or kindergartens. Besides domestic work like cleaning, shopping or cooking is equally shared between boys and girls.
2- culture :
China is one of the Four Ancient Civilizations (alongside Babylon, India and Egypt), according to Chinese scholar Liang Qichao (1900). It boasts a vast and varied geographic expanse, 3,600 years of written history, as well as a rich and profound culture. Chinese culture is diverse and unique, yet harmoniously blended an invaluable asset to the world.
Natural wonders and historic sites, as well as ethnic songs and festivals, comprise China’s national heritage. China has a number of traditional festivals that are observed throughout the country (in different ways). Chinese New Year is the most important, followed by Mid-Autumn Festival. China has many ethnic festivals, thanks to its “55 Ethnic Minorities.” From Tibet to Manchuria to China’s tropical south, various tribes celebrate the new year, harvest, and other events in their own unique ways.
