The scholarship may be renewed for up to five academic years, subject to satisfactory academic performance and attendance. Other costs, including insurance, residence permit, medical recheck, textbooks, travel, and living expenses, are not included and must be confirmed before payment.
Other scholarship opportunities: Outstanding international students may separately apply for the Liaoning Provincial Government Scholarship or the USTL Excellent Student Scholarship where available. Eligibility, award availability, and whether scholarships may be combined are subject to university confirmation.

Five-Year Curriculum and Practical Training
- Years 1–2: Basic design, architectural drawing, Mathematics and science foundations, and Chinese culture
- Years 3–4: Architectural design, architectural history, building technology, and urban design
- Year 5: Design institute internship and graduation project
The program emphasizes studio-based learning, interdisciplinary integration with engineering, materials science, and environmental design, as well as sustainable design and digital tools such as BIM, CAD, and 3D modeling. Practical training may include design institute experience, real-project practice, competitions, and portfolio development.

- High-school graduate or holder of an equivalent qualification
- In good physical and mental health, with no criminal record
- Able to study in English; IELTS 5.0 or an equivalent level is recommended, subject to final confirmation by USTL
- Able to meet tuition, accommodation, and living expenses in China
- Strong results in Mathematics and Physics are preferred and may strengthen the application

- Complete or correct any missing documents.
- Pay the RMB 1,000 non-refundable application fee through the confirmed payment channel.
- The complete application is submitted to USTL for university review.
- USTL makes the admission and scholarship decision.
- Successful applicants proceed with visa and enrollment preparation.
Admission and visa approval are not guaranteed. WentChina provides independent application support; final admission, scholarship confirmation, and visa-related documents are determined by the university and relevant authorities.

The internal document-completion target is August 25, 2026. Applicants are strongly encouraged to begin early because medical examinations, police certificates, translations, and passport preparation may take time.
