When coming to study in China, there are a lot of work to do, documents preparation is a big part.
Here we list 10 documents you need to prepare:

there are some items you have to notice:
a. make sure your passport will not expire within 6 months, or the validation period can be 12 months or longer. because if your passport expires within 6 months, then you will have to update a passport after reaching China, that will take a lot extra work. So try to keep your passport with valid period of more than 12 months.
b. try to use a scanner to scan your passport, some students use phone to take pictures, but usually not visiable.
c. and also scan 1 blank page of your passport.

a. Diploma of the Most Advanced Studies (or Letter of Attestation from Your Previous University for the prospective diploma winners);
● For bachelor applicants, please provide high school certificates, for master applicants, please provide bachelor diploma, for Ph.D applicants, please provide both bachelor and master diplomas.
● Prospective diploma winners must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date.
● Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
b. Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English);
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. medical results
The physical examinations should cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.
Pleases keep the original copy of the Form for school registration.

5. Personal statement, study plan, study proposal

6. Resume / CV
The Resume/CV is a very valuable document to be able to showcase your skills, experience, and work history along with academic achievements).
It is vital for international students especially for MBA hoping to grab the attention of the admission officers out there.
7. recommendation letters
Applicants should prepare 2 recommendation letters.
Some bachelor programs required recommendation letters, those can be provided from previous senior high schools.
For those post graduate applicants, the recommendation letters should be signed by professor or associate professor.
8. police report / police clearance certificate
A police report / police clearance certificate (PCC) is required by passport holders if they are planning to stay for a long period in a foreign country. A Police Clearance Certificate is issued to passport holders if they have applied for residential status, employment or long-term visa, or immigration.
Note that, PCC cannot be issued to anyone who is going abroad on a tourist visa. This certificate is a part of the protocol that examines criminal records when travelling to a foreign country for the long term.

9. bank balance / bank statement
You will require proof of your bank balance to show you are capable of covering tuition fees and living expenses at the time of visa application.
This can be demonstrated with bank statements.
You may also present proof of your student loan statement or any other income proof at the time of visa application.
10. photographs
To prove your identity, a photo with a close-up of your face will be required. Visas may have specific requirements for pictures so make sure you investigate this thoroughly and conform to their standards.
