Introduction to Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (LNUTCM)
Establishment & History:
Founded in 1958 through the merger of the Liaoning TCM Training School (1955) and Liaoning TCM Hospital (1956), LNUTCM is the only institution in Liaoning Province dedicated to higher education in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It was officially renamed in 2006 under the approval of the Ministry of Education.

Campus & Disciplines:
- Total Area: Over 1,000 mu (approximately 66.7 hectares).
- Campuses: Three campuses in Shenyang (main), Dalian, and Benxi, forming a “one university, three campuses” network.
- Academic Offerings:

Undergraduate Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Application Requirements
- Citizenship & Health:
- Non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- Special Cases:
- If one or both parents are Chinese citizens residing abroad, the applicant must hold a foreign passport and have resided abroad for ≥2 years in the last 4 years (as of April 30, 2025).
- Ethnic Chinese applicants must provide proof of naturalization abroad ≥4 years and overseas residence ≥2 years.
- Education:
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Language Proficiency:
- Minimum HSK Level 4 (score ≥180) for Chinese-taught programs.
- Non-native speakers must complete Chinese language training if below the requirement.

- Application Period: January 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025.

- Proof of financial support (≥CNY 44,800/year for tuition + living expenses).
- Commitment letter (no criminal record, compliance with laws).
