I.Shandong First Medical University Program Introduction
1. Chinese Preparatory program with a 1-year duration.

Note: Those who pass the national or our university’s “International Chinese Language Proficiency Standard” examination after one year, have paid all fees, have no violations, and are healthy and willing to continue their studies, can enroll in the clinical medicine undergraduate program with Chinese as the medium of instruction for a duration of five (or six) years, and register as a student. Those who do not meet the requirements can choose to leave the school or apply to continue learning Chinese, and pay the normal Chinese language training fees until passing the exam.

2. Clinical Medicine undergraduate program (taught in Chinese), with a 5 or 6-year duration, is open for enrollment to international students who have passed the national or our university’s International Chinese Language Proficiency Exam.

3. Pharmacy undergraduate program (taught in English), with a 4-year duration.

4. Stomatology undergraduate program (taught in English), with a 5-year duration.

5. Nursing undergraduate program (taught in English), with a 4-year duration.

6. Medical Imaging Technology undergraduate program (taught in English), with a 4-year duration.

II.Shandong First Medical University Eligibility for Application
1. Non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign ordinary passports;
If the applicant is a Chinese citizen who has immigrated to a foreign country, the application will be strictly reviewed in accordance with the “Higher Education Quality Standards for International Students Studying in China (Trial Implementation)”

2. In good health, between 18 and 25 years old; for applicants pursuing a master’s
degree, the age limit can be appropriately relaxed;

3. No criminal record, willing to abide by the laws, regulations, and relevant management regulations of the People’s Republic of China and our university;

4. Have a high school diploma or above; applicants for postgraduate studies must have a bachelor’s degree or above;

5. Applicants for Chinese-taught majors must have an HSK certificate or equivalent level of proficiency proo

III.Shandong First Medical University Application Materials
1. Scanned copy of passport valid for at least 18 months;

2. Valid health certificate issued by a local hospital within the past 6 months;

3. Valid Certificate of No Criminal Record issued by the local public security bureau within the past 6 months.

For applicants currently studying or employed, an additional certificate of enrollment (transfer certificate) from the current school or a certificate of employment from the current employer must be submitted. Non-Chinese or English documents must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation. Bachelor’s degree or higher obtained outside mainland China must be certified by the China National Scholarship Council

5. For applicants of English-taught majors, the high school graduation exam total score should be at least B level (score 60%-70%) or above, with an English subject score of at least 65% of the full score, or an IELTS certificate with a score of 6.5 or above. For applicants of Chinese-taught majors, an HSK certificate is also required.

6. Proof of Financial Support

1. Annual fixed income certification issued by the parents’ employer or a qualified institution;
2. Proof of deposit from a local state-owned bank for at least three months’ freeze period of all study-related expenses (including tuition, living costs, accommodation fees) for one

IV.Shandong First Medical University Admission Requirements
1. The application materials must be truthful and accurate, and the applicant must meet the qualifications for application.

2. The applicant must pass the video test organized by our school.

3. The applicant must pay the registration fee and entrance deposit within seven days of receiving the pre-admission notice.

4. The applicant must report to the school on the time specified in the pre-admission notice.

5. The applicant must pass the medical examination organized by our school.

6. The applicant must pass the entrance examination organized by our school. For medical majors: English, physics, chemistry, biology, Chinese (for Chinese-taught majors). For Chinese preparatory majors: Chinese language proficiency, English, comprehensive quality.

7. The applicant must pay all tuition fees, insurance fees, accommodation fees, and other related fees.

8. The applicant must not violate Chinese laws and school rules and regulation

V.Shandong First Medical University Admission Process
1. The applicant should upload his/her application materials onto the “International Student Online Application System” of the International Education College of Shandong First Medical University. The student portal is http://zhgl.sdfmu.edu.cn/student/login, and the agency portal is http://zhgl.sdfmu.edu.cn/agent/login. The application period is from January 1, 2023 to April 1, 2022 (for spring semester) and from June 1, 2023 to September 1, 2022 (for fall semester).

2. Within 10 working days after successful submission of all application materials, our university will review the materials and notify applicants who meet the requirements to participate in our university’s video test.

3. The university will send the notice of paying the enrollment deposit and the electronic pre-admission letter to applicants who pass the video test.

4. Within 7 days of receiving the pre-admission letter, applicants must pay a non-refundable RMB 400 registration fee to Shandong First Medical University, as well as the enrollment deposit specified in the letter.

If the applicant can register on time after paying the enrollment deposit, the deposit will be converted into part of the tuition for that year. If the applicant is unable to register on time and provide official proof of inability to do so due to embassy refusal, the enrollment deposit will be

6. After confirming the receipt of the registration fees and deposit, the school will send pre-admission notice and “Application Form for Foreign Students’ Visa” to the applicant’s contact address and phone number provided in the application system.

7. The school will organize a physical examination for the admitted applicants. If the examination is failed, the applicant will not be admitted and must bear the related expenses to return to their home country. The enrollment deposit will be refunded by the school.

8. The school will organize an entrance examination. If unsuccessful, the applicant will not be admitted and must bear the related expenses to return to their home country. The enrollment deposit will be refunded by the school. For graduate students, an interview with the supervisor in the desired field of study is necessary before admission can be granted.

9. The applicant must pay all fees within a week after the start of the semester, obey Chinese laws, as well as school rules and regulations. If violating any of these, the applicant will not be admitted, must bear the related expenses to return to their home country, and the enrollment deposit will not be refunded by the school.

10. The school will officially enroll the admitted applicant as a foreign student in our university upon meeting the above conditions.

VII.Shandong First Medical University Scholarship policy

1. Provincial Government Scholarship: For undergraduate majors in pharmacy, nursing, and dentistry, 20 students per class in both spring and fall sessions can receive 15,000 yuan scholarship. Starting from the second year, students will be evaluated based on their performance, and outstanding students can receive Excellent Student Scholarship. If scholarship recipients do not continue their university from the second year onwards, they will need to repay the scholarship in full.

2. Provincial Government Scholarship: For graduate majors, 10 students per class in both spring and fall sessions can receive 20,000 yuan scholarship. Starting from the second year, students will be evaluated based on their performance, and outstanding students can receive Excellent Student Scholarship. If scholarship recipients do not continue their studies at the university from the second year onwards, they will need to repay the scholarship in full

3. Friendship City Scholarship: Each new student can receive 30,000 yuan, and there are approximately 2 places available each year. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Provincial Government Scholarship. 一、招生专业

（一）汉语语言培训，学制一年。

注：一年后通过国家或我校《国际汉语能力标准》水平考试者，如已缴清全部费用、无违法乱纪、身体健康并愿意继续学习的，可于当年进入临床医学本科专业学习，以中文授课，学制五年（或六年），注册学籍；未达到者，可选择离校或申请继续学习汉语，按正常汉语语言培训学费标准交费，至通过为止。

（二）临床医学本科（中文授课），学制五年（或六年），接受通过国家或我校《国际汉语能力标准》水平考试的留学生报名。

（三）药学本科（英文授课），学制四年。

（四）口腔医学本科（英文授课），学制五年。

（五）护理学本科（英文授课），学制四年。

（六）医学影像技术（英文授课），学制四年。

二、申请资格

（一）持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民；申请人属于中国公民移民外国的，严格按照《来华留学生高等教育质量规范（试行）》规定审核；

（二）身体健康，年龄在18～25周岁；申读硕士学位者年龄可适当放宽；

（三）无犯罪记录，愿意遵守中华人民共和国法律、法规和我校相关管理规定；

（四）具有高中毕业或以上学历；申请研究生需本科或以上学历；

（五）申请中文授课专业需HSK证书或同等水平效力证明。

三、申请材料

（一）至少18个月有效期的护照扫描件；

（二）由当地医院出具的6个月内有效的身体健康证明；

（三）由当地公安机关出具的日期在6个月内有效的无犯罪证明；

已在中国院校读书的申请者，此证明可由在读学校提供；

（四）最高学历证明/学位证明；

如申请人为在校学生或已就业，需另外提交申请人就读学校出具的在学证明（转学证明）或就业单位出具的在职证明，非中、英文本需附上经公证的中文或英文的译本；非中国大陆获得的本科及以上学历及学位需经中国国家留学基金委认证；

（五）申请英文授课专业需提供高中毕业考试总分成绩为B级（分数达到60%-70%）或以上的成绩单、英语单科在单科满分的65%以上的成绩单或雅思6.5分证书；申请中文授课专业还需提供HSK证书；

非中、英文本需附上经公证的中文或英文的译本；

（六）经济证明材料：

1.由父母工作单位或有资质的机构出具的每年固定收入证明；

2.当地国有银行签发的父母冻结期最低为三个月的不低于一学年全部学习相关费用（包括学费、生活费、住宿费等）的存款证明；

（七）《山东第一医科大学来华留学生入学申请表》；

（八）由申请人和经济担保人、在华经济事物担保人共同签名的

《山东第一医科大学来华留学生担保书》《山东第一医科大学来华留学生入学须知》；

（九）经济担保人、在华事务联系人的证件扫描件；

（十）申请研究生还需以下材料：本科阶段成绩单、中英文简历、个人陈述、专家推荐信。

备注：以上材料在初步申请时须向系统上传扫描件电子版，入学报到时须提交原件，申请人承诺所有材料真实无误，一旦有虚假信息不予录取，一切责任自负。

四、录取条件

（一）申请材料真实无误，符合申请资格；

（二）申请人通过我校组织的视频测试；

（三）申请人在接到预录取通知书后七天内缴纳报名费和入学押金；

（四）申请人按预录取通知书规定时间到校报到；

（五）申请人经我校组织体检合格；

（六）申请人通过我校组织的入学考试；医学类专业：英语、物理、化学、生物、汉语（中文授课专业）

汉语语言培训：汉语学力、英语、综合素质；

（七）缴清学费、保险费、住宿费等全部费用；

（八）申请人无违反中国法律及校纪校规现象。

五、录取流程

（一）申请人将申请材料上传至“山东第一医科大学国际教育学院国际学生入学在线申请系统”，学生端为http://zhgl.sdfmu.edu.cn/student/login，中介端为http://zhgl.sdfmu.edu.cn/agent/login，上传时间为2023年1月1日～2022年4月1日（春季班）/2023年6月1日~2022年9月1日（秋季班）。

（二）我校在申请人成功提交全部申请材料后的10个工作日内，将会对申请材料进行审查，通知材料合格的申请人参加我校组织的视频测试。

（三）学校向通过视频测试的申请人发送缴纳入学押金通知、电子版预录取通知书。

（四）申请人在收到预录取通知书的7天内需向山东第一医科大学缴纳400元人民币报名费（不退还），以及通知书上规定的入学押金。

若申请人在缴纳入学押金后能按时来校报到注册，则已缴纳的入学押金将转为当年学费的一部分，如申请人未能按时来校注册报到者入学押金不予退还，但因大使馆拒签原因无法来校注册报到者，提供官方有效证明后，退还入学押金。

（五）申请人将标明申请人信息的注册费和入学押金汇款单扫描件发送至邮箱[email protected]。

（六）学校在确认收到注册费和押金后，将根据申请人在申请系统填写的联系地址和联系电话向申请人寄发预录取通知书和《外国留学生签证申请表》。

（七）学校将为到校的申请人组织体检，若体检不合格，申请人将不被录取,必须自己负担相关费用回国。我校将退还入学押金。

（八）学校将组织入学考试。若不能通过考试，申请人将不会被录取,必须自己负担相关费用回国。我校将退还入学押金。对于申请研究生者，需按报考的专业意愿组织导师进行面试，面试通过方可被录取。

（九）申请人必须于课程开始后一周内交清全部费用，遵守中国法律及校纪校规，如有违反者不予录取，申请人必须自己负担相关费用回国。我校不予退还入学押金。
