Short-term Program of Chinese Language & Culture
Suzhou University of Science and Technology Program Description:
This program is designed to train the students’ Chinese language skill and enable students to learn Chinese culture at the same time. It is usually 2 weeks to 2 months in duration. Normally we offer Chinese language classes in the mornings and culture classes and site visits in the afternoons. The culture classes are given in the way of lectures that cover Chinese history, geography, economy, education, calligraphy, painting, social structure, traditional folk custom, traditional sports, etc. All the culture lectures are given in Chinese or English. Site visits may include factories, business enterprises, markets, development zones and other places of historical interests. If required, trips to other cities are possibly arranged at weekends or after the program.
Suzhou University of Science and Technology Application Requirement
This program is normally limited to group application (more than-10 students) only. Students who want to attend this program can raise their application to the school or institution of their own country. Applications are accepted at any time of the year.
Suzhou University of Science and Technology Board and lodging
We arrange international students dormitory for students of this program.
Rooms: Twin-bed room (with wash room, telephone, TV, and air-conditioning)
Food: Three group meals per day, mostly Chinese food.

Tuition fee: RMB2300/2 weeks/person, RMB3000/3 weeks/person, RMB3500/4 weeks/person, RMB4000/4 weeks/person
Accommodation: RMB50/day/ person
Meals: RMB50/day/person
Miscellaneous fees: RMB400 (Airport pick-ups included)
Trips to other cities: to be-discussed according to trip arrangements

汉语语言、中国文化短期研修班招生简章
课程介绍：
本课程学习时间2周—2个月。研修期间，上午安排汉语语言课，根据学生汉语水平分小班上课。下午安排中国文化讲座及实地考察、参观。中国文化讲座的内容涉及中国历史、地理、社会、教育、书法、绘画、民俗、传统体育等；实地考察、参观包括工厂、企业、商业中心、博物馆以及其他名胜古迹等。周末或进修结束后可安排去中国其他城市观光、旅游。
报名办法：
本课程一般只接受团体报名，满10即可开班。希望加本课程的学生可向所在学校或其他机构提出申请。报名及办班时间不限。
食宿安排：
校内住宿：留学生公寓
住宿标准：标准双人房间（有独立卫生间、电视、空调等）。
用餐方式：集体用餐，一日三餐，以中餐为主。
研修期间：苏州科技学院将指定专人全面负责学生的学习、生活及实地考察、参观等活动的组织和安排。
研修费用：
学费：每人2周2300元人民币；3周3000元、4周3500元、5周4000元；6周4500元；
宿费：每人每天50元，室内有电话、空调、微波炉和网络端口，单独卫生间和洗衣机；
伙食：每人每天50元；
实地考察、杂费：每人400元（含机场接送等）；
其它城市旅游费：根据旅游路线 另行商定。
