Zunyi Normal University is situated in Zunyi, a city famous for its culture and revolutionary history. Its history can be traced back to 1907 when Zunyi Primary Normal School was founded . In 1958, Zunyi Normal School was officially established. In 2001, it was upgraded to Zunyi Normal College and began undergraduate education. In 2011, the school was awarded the “National Civilized Unit”, and in the same year, it became the School of Red Classic Art Education Demonstration Base of the Ministry of Education. In 2013, it was awarded the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education — The Research Center of Revolutionary Spirit and Cultural Resources of the Communist Party of China. In 2014, it became one of the first characteristic Cultural Schools in Guizhou Province.

Covering an area of approximately 2100 Mu, the University has 18 schools(teaching departments) and 51 undergraduate majors of 9 disciplines including in literature, the sciences, engineering, agriculture, law, education, history, management and the arts.The University has nearly 14500 full-time students from different parts of China; in addition . It is supported by an experienced team of teachers, in which there is a teaching and administrative staff of 1145 members, of whom 241 are Ph.D. holders and 532 are Master’s degree holders. Of the whole faculty members, 384 are associate professors and 162 are professors, of whom 8 are third-tier professors, 1 professor receives special allowance from The State Council, and 2 professors get special allowance from the provincial government. There are 2 provincial-level experts and 10 city-level experts in Zunyi Normal University.

By 2023, the university has enrolled more than 900 international students from 17 countries along the “Belt and Road”, including Laos, Vietnam, Tanzania, Russia and Mongolia.

Zunyi Normal University Scholarship

International students can apply for Scholarship for International Students of the People’s  Government of Guizhou Province and the Scholarship for Overseas Students of ZYNU.Those  with outstanding achievements both in classes and extracurricular activities will be given priority.The details of scholarship are as follows:

 Required Documents（All materials should be provided Both in  Chinese and English）

1. ZYNU Application Form for International Students
2. Photocopy of visa page and picture page of valid passport.
3. Resume/C.V. (in Chinese/English)
4. Highest diploma photocopy and Chinese version)
5. Photocopy of the identity pages of your valid passport
6. HSK-4 test scores
7. Physical examination certificate
8. Personal short video(3–5minutes)
9. Police clearance certificate
10. Financial Statement （offering certificate of bank deposit of over 10,000 CNY)  
11. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit the valid documents photocopy of their legal guardians in China
12. 12. Digital photo of yourself.

Qualification Assessment and Recruitment

ZYNU will assess submitted documents of each applicant and enroll the most qualified. The qualified applicant(s) will then receive the ZYNU Admission Offer for Overseas Students.

学校概况

Zunyi Normal University遵义师范学院位于闻名中外、有“红色圣地、醉美遵义”美誉的革命历史文化名城，是一所拥有百年教学历史的学府。前身是1907年创建的遵义初级师范学堂,1958年，正式成立遵义师范专科学校，2001年，升格为遵义师范学院并开始本科办学，2011年学校获评为“全国文明单位”，同年成为教育部红色经典艺术教育示范基地学校，2013年获教育部人文社科重点研究基地—中国共产党革命精神与文化资源研究中心，2014年成为“贵州省首批特色文化学校”2018年成为“全国中华诗教先进单位”，2021年获批教育部“全国高校毕业生就业能力培训基地”，2022年入选第九批“全国民族团结进步示范单位”，2024年，学校创建“一带一路”黔货出海贵州遵义跨境电商人才培训基地建。

学校占地面积2100余亩，已完成北区建设近1000亩（南区1100亩正在规划建设中），总建筑面积90万平方米。有18个学院（教学部），普通本科专业51个，涵盖文、理、工、管、农等9大学科门类，有全日制在校生14851人。

迄今，学校共招收了来自老挝、越南、坦桑尼亚、俄罗斯、蒙古等17个“一带一路”沿线国家900余来华留学生。

奖学助学金

学习成绩优秀，表现良好，无违法违纪的学生，可申请贵州省外国留学生奖学金、遵义遵义师范学院外国留学生奖学金，评定结果根据学生综合表现，优中选优，届时宣布评定结果。其标准如下：

申请流程

（一）提交申请材料(所有材料需扫描提供PDF中英文版本)

1.遵义师范学院外国留学生入学申请表  

2.护照签证页和照片页的扫描件(有效期须为入境后至少6个月);

  3.个人简历（中/英文）

  4.最高学历学位证明复印件及中文翻译复印件

5.高中阶段课程成绩中文翻译复印件

  6.HSK-4考试成绩（学历生）

  7.有效健康证明（体检表）

8.个人介绍短视频（3–5分钟）

9.当地警察部门提供的无犯罪记录。（中/英文）

10.资金证明（提供一万元人民币以上的银行存款证明复印件）

 12.年龄不满18周岁的申请人,须提交在华法定监护人相关法律文件复印件

• 资格审查与录取

 我校按期对申请人提交的资料进行资格审查,择优录取。予以录取后,学校会发放《遵义师范学院外国留学生录取通知书》。

• 报到与注册

学生须持有效护照和《遵义师范学院外国留学生录取通知书》在规定时间内到遵义师范学院国际教育学院报到注册,按规定办理入学手续。
