Zhongyuan University of Technology中原工学院位于少林功夫的发源地，中国历史文化名城、国家中心城市、河南省省会郑州市。学校始建于1955年，原名郑州纺织工学院，2000年更名为中原工学院，现已发展成为一所以工为主，以电子信息和纺织服装为特色优势，工、管、艺、理、文、经、法、哲等多学科协调发展的河南省特色骨干学科建设高。
Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT) is located in the birthplace of Shaolin Kungfu, a famous istoricaland cultural city in China, a national central city, the capital city of Henan Province, Zhengzhou. Founded in1955, the university was formerly known as Zhengzhou Institute of Textile Technology, and was renamedZhongyuan University of Technology in 2000. The university has now developed into a university withcharacteristics of key disciplines in Henan Province with gineering_oriented, electronic information, textileand garment as the aracteristic advantages, and the coordinated development of engineering, management, art,science,terature,economics, law,philosophy and other disciplines.
中原工学院现设有电子信息学院、纺织学院、能源与环境学院、机电学院、服装学院、材料与化工学院、外国语学院、建筑工程学院等21个教学院(部)，71个本科专业，目前全校共有教职工1942人，高级职称教师621人，博士学位教师630人，全日制在校生2.2万余人，研究生1840人。
Zhongyuan University of Technology consists of 2l schools (departments),including the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, the School ofTextiles, the School of Energy and Environmental Engineering, the School ofMechanical & Electronic Engineering, the School of Fashion Technology, theSchool of Materials and Chemical Engineering, the School of Foreign Studies,and the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, with 7l undergraduatemajors, a total of 1942 faculty, 621 teachers with senior professional titles, 630teachers with doctoral degrees, more than 22,000 full_time students and 1840Master graduate students.

申请资格
(一)基本条件
1、年满18周岁的非中国籍公民，身体健康，无犯罪记录;
2、遵守中国政府的法律法规，遵守学校的规章制度;
3、学习态度端正，成绩优秀。
(一)General Conditions
1、Non_Chinese citizens no less than 18 years old, in goodhealth and no criminal record;
2、Abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinesegovernment and the rules and regulations of theuniversity;
3、Positive learning attitude with excellent grades.
(二)学历和年龄要求
1、本科生项目申请人，须具有高中毕业以上学历，成绩优秀，年龄一般不超过30周岁;
2、硕士研究生项目申请人，须具有大学本科以上学历或学士学位，成绩优秀，年龄一般不超过35周岁;
(二)Education Experience and Age Requirements
1、Applicants for undergraduate programs should havea high school diploma or above and an excellent academicrecord, and should be no more than 30 years old;
2、Applicants for postgraduate programs should hold abachelor’s degree or above and be no more than 30 yearsold.
(三)语言能力要求
1、本科生项目、硕士研究生项目授课语言为英文，若申请人来自于英语为母语或英语为官方语言的国家，可免试英语。2、具有一定的汉语交流基础。
(三)Language Proficiency Requirements
1、The language of instruction for undergraduate andpostgraduate students is English. Applicants from non .native English speaking countries are required to provideproof or certificate of English proficiency;
2、Basic Chinese language ability is required.

This fee standard has been put on record in the relevant departments of Henan Provincial Government,and the details are shown in the following form:
以上费用不包括:
1、办理签证、居留证件、体检等费用:
2、伙食费、电话费、医疗费、保险费、教材费等费用;
3、教学计划外的实验、实习等费用。

INSURANCEIN CHINA
在华保险
外国留学生在华就读期间每年必须按照国家有关规定和中原工学院要求投保。对未按照规定购买保险的，须在规定期限内投保，逾期不投保的，我校不予录取和注册。已在校学习但不按时投保的，我校将予以退学处理。
The international students must apply for insurance every year in accordance withthe relevant national regulations and the requirements of ZUT during their studiesin China.For those who fail to purchase insurance, they should be insured beforethe stipulate deadlines. For those who fail to purchase insurance before thestipulate deadline will not be admitted andregistered by ZUT. Students who havealready studied in university but failed to purchase insurance on time will beexpelled from ZUT.

申请程序
(一)提交材料
申请人须向学校提交以下材料的PDF格式电子文件:
1、申请人填写《中原工学院外国留学生入学申请表》表格下载网址:https:/waiban.zut.edu.cn/infov1029/2763.htm。申请表格内容不得手填，签名处申须由请人本人签署;
2、申请人护照原件的首页;
3、最高学历证明原件或经过公证的复印件(如申请人为在校学生或已就业，须另外提交本人所在学校或单位出具的在学证明或在职证明)，中英文以外交本须附上经过公证的中文或英文译文;
4、本科生项目申请人须提供高中毕业成绩单;硕士研究生项目申请人须提供学士学习阶段成绩单，以上各阶段成绩单须为原件或经过公证的复印件，中、英文以外文本须附上经过公证的中文或英文译文;
5、本科生项目申请人须提供不少于400字的学习计划:硕士研究生项目申请人须提供600字以上的学习计划和两封推荐信，推荐人须为副教授及以上职称;
6、非英语母语或英语非官方语言国家的申请人须提供国际通用的英语水平证明:托福成绩72分(含)以上或雅思成绩5.5分(含)以上水平。
7、《外国人体格检查记录表》和血液检查报告单原件或经过公证的复印件;
8、无犯罪记录证明原件或经过公证的复印件，非中、英文文本的须附上经过公证的中文或英文译文;
9、白色背景，3.5×4.5cm的JPG格式电子照片1张。
(二)审核录取
申请人须在规定时间内提交申请材料，经学校审核后决定是否录取。被录取的新生将收到学校发出的《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》(下称JWV202表)。
(三)报到注册
1、被录取的新生持本人普通护照、《录取通知书》JWV202表、外国人体格检查记录表、血液检查报告单到中国驻其所在国使领馆申请来华学习X1签证持其他类型护照和签，证来华学习的，视为自动放弃入学资格和相应的奖学金生资格。
2、获得X1签证后，被录取的新生持本人普通护照、《录取通知书》、学习X1签证和JW202表原件，在学校规定的时间内报到，提前报到所发生的全部费用由学生本人自理。报到后一周内，留学生须向学校缴纳住宿费2400元，否则不予注册。
3、被录取的学生因故不能按期报到者，须以书面形式并附相关证明材料向学校请假。请假时间原则上不超过15天，未请假或超过请假期限者，视为自动放弃入学资格和相应的奖学金资助资格。
APPLICATION PROCESS
一、Submission of MMaterinl
Applicants are required to submit electronic documents in PDF format of thefollowing materials to the university:
1.1、Fill in the Application Form for International Students of ZUT, formdownload URL: https://waiban,zut,edu,cninfo/1029/2763.htm, The contents ofthe application form should not be filled in by handwriting. The signature shouldbe signed by the applicant himselfherself.
1.2、Original passport scan of applicant;
1.3、 The original copy of the highest education certificate or a notarized copy (ifthe applicant is a student or employed, he/she must submit a study certificate oremployment certificate issued by hisher school or the employer); A notarizedtranslation in Chinese or English must be attached on texts in languages other thanEnglish and Chinese;
1.4、 Applicants of the bachelor’s program must provide a transcript of their highschool graduation; Applicants for master’s programs must provide transcripts forthe bachelor’s degree, Transcripts for each degree must be original or notarized. Anotarized translation in Chinese or English must be attached on texts in languagesother than English and Chinese;
1.5、 Applicants for the bachelor’s program must provide a study plan of no lessthan 400 words; Applicants for master’s programs should provide a study plan ofmore than 600 words and two letters of recommendation from associate professorsor above;
1.6, Students from non.native English.speaking countries or countries in whiehEnglish is not an official language are required to provide proof of internationalEnglish proficieney or equivalent language proficiency;
1.7、 The original or notarized copy of Physieal Examination Record for Foreignerand Blood Examination Report;
1.8、 The original certificate of noncriminal record or a notarized copy, and anotarized translntion in Chinese or English must be attached on texts in languagesother than English and Chinese;
1.9、Electronic JPG photo format with a size of 3.5*4,$CM with whitebackground.
二、Review & Admission
Applicants must submit application materials within the specified time (before thestart of the 2023 fall semester), and the ZUT will decide whether to admit afterreviewing the materials, The admitted students will receive the Admission Noticeand Visa Application for Study in China (hereinafter referred to as JW202 form)issued by the ZUT.
三、Registration
3.1、Admitted students should apply for an Xl visa to study in China at theChinese embassyor consulate in their country with their ordinary passport,Admission Notice, JW202 form, Physical Examination Record for Foreigner, andBlood Examination Report. Those who come to China to study with other types ofpassports and visas will be deemed to have automatically given up their admissionqualifications and corresponding scholarship qualifications.
3.2、Afer obtaining the Xl visa, the admitted students should enroll within thetime specified by the university with their ordinary passport, Admission Notice,study X1 visa and JW202 form, and all expenses incurred in registration earlierthan the specified time shall be borne by the student, Within one week afterregistration, international students must pay the accommodation fee of RMB 2400yuan to the school, otherwise they will not be registered.
3,3、If the admitted student fails to register on time for some reason, he/sheshould ask for leave in written form with relevant supporting materials. In principle,the leave shall not exceed 15 days, and those who do not ask for leave or left forlonger than the prescribed period will be regarded as giving up the admissionqualification automatically.
SCHOLARSHIP
奖学金
中原工学院有“河南省外国留学生政府奖学金”和“中原工学院外国留学生奖学金”，外国留学生只能申请其中一种，申请截止时间以学校具体通知为准。

申请河南省外国留学生政府奖学金须填写《中原工学院外国留学生奖学金申请表》，硕士研究生
的资助标准为每人每学年3万人民币，共资助3学年;学士本科生每人每学年 1.5万元人民币，共
资助4学年。

其他事项
申请人对申请材料的真实性负责，一旦被发现有任何弄虚作假行为，学校将取消申请人的入学资格和奖学金资格，其他未尽事宜均按国家相关要求执行。

(二)中原工学院外国留学生奖学金
1、申请中原工学院外国留学生奖学金须填写《中原工学院外国留学生奖学金申请表》，硕士研究生的资助标准为每生每学年2万元，共资助3学年;学士本科生每人每学年 1.5万元人民币，共资助4学年。
2、来自“一带一路”沿线国家并申请我校纺织工程本科专业的外国留学生，享受本科学费减免20%的优惠。

(二)ZUT SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
2.1、To apply for the ZUT SCHOLARSHIP FORINTERNATIONAL STUDENTS,students must fillin the Scholarship Application FormforInternational Students of ZUT, and the fundingstandard for each master student is 20,000 RMBper academic year, a total of 3 academic years;While each undergraduate student is 15,000 RMBper academic year, for a total of 4 academic years.
2.2、International students from countries alongthe “Belt and Road”who applyfor theundergraduate major of Textile Engineering ofZUT can enjoy a 20% discount on undergraduatetuition fees.
