I. Shandong Second Medical University Admission Major and Numbers
Six postgraduate students are planned to study medical and related majors.
II.Shandong Second Medical University Duration of Study and Teaching Language
The study duration is 3 years.
Teaching language is Chinese and English.
III.Shandong Second Medical University Eligibility for Application
1. Have a Medical or Medical related Bachelor degree ofa university, under 35 years old.
2. Hold foreign passports, non-Chinese citizens.
3. Good health, have no illegal and criminal records.
4. Have passed the HSK4 or above, and have excellent academic performance in the undergraduatestage, and recommended by two professors or associate professors.
IV.Shandong Second Medical UniversityGraduation Requirements
Complete the preseribed courses, publish one paper in Chinese or English in official publications andpass the defense of thesis
V.Shandong Second Medical University Application Method and Application Time
Apply through the Management System, or submit written application materials to School of Interna-tional Education of SDSMU. Application materials should be submitted before the deadline and will notbe returned.
Application deadline: August 20,2024.
VI.Shandong Second Medical University Application Materials
1.Fill in SDSMU Admission Application Form for International Students;
2. Copy of “Foreigner Physical Examination Form” and Mental Health Self-Assessment Scale Form(the original will be kept by themselves for school checking). The form should be filled in English. Appli.cants should strictly do physical check-up according to the items required in the form. t will be invalid ifthere are some required physical examination items that haven’t been done, such as no applicant’s photo,no connective seal on the photo, no signature and seal of physician and hospital. As the result ofthe exam-ination is valid for 6 months, applicants should properly arrange the time of their physical examination bytheir own condition;
3. Highest diploma And academic degree certificates. Certificates rather than in Chinese or Englishmust be accompanied by notarized translation versions in Chinese or English. New graduates must submita pre-graduation certificate;
4. Study transcripts for undergraduate courses, other documents that demonstrate research ability andgeneral quality, such as award certificates, published papers, etc.;
5. Personal statement, Applicants must submit a personal statement around 2000 words including self-introduction, learning experience, study purpose, research plan and career goals in Chinese or English, among of which the research plan should be not less than 1000 words；
6.No criminal record certificate;
7. Chinese proficiency certificate (e.g. HSK-4 or above);
8. A copy of a valid ordinary passport.
9. Original letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from two professors or associate pro-fessors in their undergraduates(signature and contact details of the referees must be included).
10. Applicants who have work experience should provide a notarized proof of work or other relativematerials.
VIl.Shandong Second Medical University Fees and Scholarship (CNY)
1.Tuition: ¥30,000/ academic year, applicants can apply for Shangdong Provincial Government International Student Scholarship and University-level scholarship.
2. Health Insurance: ¥800/year;
3.Accommodation: twin room, ¥5000/ academic year /person.
4. Medical examination fees, residence permit fees, etc. are charged according to regulations.
VII. Admission and Notifcation
1.The school checks the applicant’s application materials and holds the exam for the qualified.
2. Applicants need to bring the original application materials to the school for verification whenregistration.; if the accepted fails to the university for personal reasons, the fees paid will not berefunded.
3. The school will notify the accepted applicants and issue the Admission Letter and the Visa Appli-cation Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW202).
