Nationalities Scholarship Enrollment Brochure for International students
Qinghai Minzu University was founded in December 1949. It is one of the earliest universities in Qinghai and one of the earliest universities for nationalities in New China. It is also the first batch of units in China to obtain the right to confer master’s degrees. Having been approved by the National Ministry of Education to recruit international students and receive Chinese Government Scholarship Students, Qinghai Minzu University is an officially authorized Chinese Educational Centre and the HSK web-based test center. It has been honored as one of the “Top Ten Universities in the Eyes of International Students” by the Central People’s Broadcasting Station and a brand institution in the “Perceiving China” campaign of the Ministry of Education. Since 1984, Qinghai Minzu University has received more than 3,000 students from over 40 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, U.K., France, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Japan, Korea, Turkmenistan, Nepal, Thailand and Sudan. We are currently recruiting and training international students for master’s and bachelor’s degree levels, as well as for advanced language training.
I. Admission majors, duration and graduation requirements
1. Admission majors: undergraduate majors offered by Qinghai Minzu University.( See Attachment 3.)
2. Enrollment number: 10-20 students.
3. Mode of study: Full-time.
4. Teaching language: Chinese.
5. Study duration: 5 years. One year of intensive Chinese study, after passing the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 4, students will enter the undergraduate level; students who do not pass the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 4 can choose to transfer to self-financing students or leave the university.
6. Students who have completed the credits specified in the cultivation program of undergraduate majors (for international students) and met the graduation requirements will be granted graduation; students who meet the requirements of the Rules for the Implementation of the Bachelor’s Degree Awarding Work of Qinghai Minzu University will be granted a bachelor’s degree.
II. Qualifications for Application
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals, be of good conduct, be in good health, meet the requirements of the physical examination standards of Chinese institutions of higher education and the admission conditions of corresponding majors, and be willing to abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the university.
2、Applicants must have a high school diploma, be generally above the age of 18, have excellent academic performance, and have passed the Chinese Proficiency Test Level 3 (HSK3).
3. Applicants must have a qualified medical examination report (Record of Physical Examination for Foreigners (copy)) printed by the Chinese health and quarantine authorities.
III. Scholarship Funding Criteria
Exemption of tuition fee (including laboratory fee and internship fee) and accommodation fee.
IV. Application Materials
1. Application Form for University-level Scholarship for International Students at Qinghai Minzu University (See Attachment 1) and Resume and Info.(See Attachment 2), filled in Chinese or English.
2. Notarized certificate of highest education (academic certificate and degree certificate). Texts other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by notarized translations into Chinese or English. If the applicant is a student or employed, he/she must additionally submit a certificate of enrollment issued by his/her school or a certificate of employment issued by his/her employer.
3. A scanned copy of the graduation certificate or degree in high resolution. (The certificate must be translated into Chinese or English and provided together with a copy of the certificate in a language other than English or Chinese).
4. Notarized high school transcripts. (A notarized translation in Chinese or English must be attached to the text other than Chinese and English.
5. Plan of study and research in China (no less than 800 words) in Chinese or English.
6. Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors, in Chinese or English.
7. Record of Physical Examination for Foreigners (copy). This form is printed by the Chinese health and quarantine authorities and must be completed in English. Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the Record of Physical Examination for Foreigners. The “Record of Medical Examination for Foreigners” with missing items, without the photo of the applicant or the photo with the seal of the physician and hospital is invalid. Since the examination results are valid for 6 months, applicants are advised to determine the time for their own medical examination accordingly.
8. Certificate of Chinese language proficiency.
9. A copy of passport.

V. Application Procedure and Deadline
1. All applicants should fill in the Application Form for University-level Scholarship for International Students at Qinghai Minzu University (See Attachment 1), Resume and Info.(See Attachment 2) and send them together with other application materials to the College of International Education of Qinghai Minzu University. Email: [email protected]. The deadline for application is June 30, 2022.
2. The College of International Education of Qinghai Minzu University will send the admission letter to the accepted students by August 15, 2022. Students need to do registration on August 27-28, 2022.

来华留学生校级奖学金招生简章
青海民族大学创建于1949年12月，是青海建立最早的高校和新中国建校最早的民族院校之一、是中国首批获得硕士学位授予权单位。学校是中国教育部批准的接收来华留学生教育定点院校，教育部国家政府奖学金委托培养院校，“华文教育”基地和汉语水平考试（HSK）网络考点院校。青海民族大学曾获得中央人民广播电台“来华留学生眼中的十大高校”和教育部来华留学生“感知中国”活动品牌院校的荣誉称号。自1984年开始，先后接收和培养了来自美国、加拿大、英国、法国、德国、巴西、智利、日本、韩国、土库曼斯坦、尼泊尔、泰国、苏丹等40多个国家和地区3000余名留学生和华侨华裔学生。现开展硕士、本科学历层次以及语言进修等方面的来华留学生招收和培养工作。
一、招生专业、类别、学制及毕业要求
1．招生专业：青海民族大学开设的所有本科专业（附件3）。
2. 招生名额：每年10-20人。
3．学习方式：全日制汉语授课。
4．基本学制：5年。一年汉语强化学习，通过汉语水平(HSK)考试四级后，进入本科阶段学习；未通过汉语水平(HSK)考试四级的学生可选择转入自费生或离校。
5．学生修满本科专业培养方案（来华留学生）所规定的学分，达到毕业要求，准予毕业；达到《青海民族大学学士学位授予工作实施细则》要求，授予学士学位。
二、申请资格
1、申请者须为非中国国籍公民，品行端正、身体健康，符合中国高等院校体检标准及相应专业录取条件要求，愿意遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。
2、申请者须具有高中学历，年龄一般在18岁以上，学习成绩优异，通过汉语水平考试三级（HSK3）。
3、申请人须持有由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制的合格的体检报告（《外国人体格检查记录》(复印件)）。
三、奖学金资助标准
免收学费（包括实验费、实习费）和住宿费。
四、申请材料
1.《青海民族大学来华留学生校级奖学金申请表》（附件1）及《个人简历及基本情况表》（附件2），使用中文或英文填写。
2. 经过公证的最高学历证明（学历证书和学位证书）。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文。如申请人为在校学生或已就业，需另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明或就业单位出具的在职证明。
3.毕业证书或学位证书的高清扫描件。（中英文以外文本需翻译为中文或英文，连同中英文以外文本证书的复印件一并提供）。
4.经公证的高中阶段成绩单。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文。
5.来华学习和研究计划（不少于800字），用中文或英文书写。
6.两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写。
7.《外国人体格检查记录》(复印件)。此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须用英文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间。
8. 汉语水平的相关证书。
9. 护照复印件。
注：无论录取与否，申请材料均不退还。
五、申请程序及时间
1. 所有申请者按照要求填写《青海民族大学来华留学生校级奖学金申请表》，与其他申请材料一起发送至青海民族大学国际教育学院邮箱：[email protected]，申请截止日期为：2022年6月30日。
2. 青海民族大学国际教育学院将于2022年8月15日前向被录取学生寄发录取通知。 2022年8月27日-28日报到注册。
