长期班(学习半年以上)每年招生两次，分别于3月、9月开学，设有初级、中级和高级不同等级的课程。根据入学者的申请及分班面试的结果，组成若干个教学小班进行教学。星期一至星期五上课，每周安排22-24 课时，另外，还开设有针对HSK考试的专项辅导课（自愿参加，免费学习）。

疫情期间，提供线上汉语长期班项目。疫情过后，参加线上学习的学生如继续来校进行线下学习的，减免报名费。

The enrollments of long-term programs are twice every year, separately in March and September. Instruction is divided into elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students will be divided into different small-size classes in accordance with both the application and the results of interview. There are classes from Monday to Friday, and 22-24 class hours a week. In addition, HSK Guidance is offered. Students can attend the class optionally and freely.

During the epidemic period, we offer online Chinese long-term programs. After the epidemic, if students participating in online learning continue to come to the school for offline study, the application fee will be reduced or exempted.

申请人基本条件/Application qualifications for Northeastern University

1. 非中国国籍，身体健康。

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, in good health.

2. 年龄在17岁以上，60岁以下。61-65岁的申请人可以提供健康证明进行申请，申请结果以最后审批结果为准。

Above the age of 17 and under the age of 60. Applicants aged 61-65 should provide health certificate, and the result is subject to the final decision.

3. 高中毕业或以上学历。

Obtain high school diploma or above.

申请时间/Application period for Northeastern University

秋季学期入学：网上申请截至2021年7月1日。

Fall Semester Admission: Online application ends on July 1, 2021.

春季学期入学：网上申请截至2022年1月1日。

Spring Semester Admission: Online application ends on January 1, 2022.

申请流程/Application procedure for Northeastern University

1. 在东北大学网站进行申请。

东北大学的在线申请网站是http://studyinneu.neu.edu.cn或http://neu.17gz.org。请通过邮箱注册新的账户，每个邮箱可以注册一个账户，之后按照网站提示进行申请。

Apply on NEU website. The NEU online application portal:

Please register with your email address and complete the application by following instructions on the website. One email address can be used to create one account.

2. 上传材料。需提供的材料包括：

Submit application materials. The following documents are required:

I. 境外新生需提供For new applicants living abroad：

1）护照首页Photocopy of your passport home page

2）护照空白页（护照本中间某一页没有任何签证或盖章的空白页，不要第一页或最后一页）Photocopy of a blank page in your passport (page without visa or seal)

3）最高学历毕业证书原件和中文翻译件（如果你还没有毕业，请联络正在读书的学校出具“预毕业证明”）Highest diploma certificate and translated copy in Chinese (If you have not graduated yet, please contact your present school to provide “certificate of expected gradation”)

4）最高学历成绩单原件和中文翻译件Highest academic transcript and translated copies in Chinese

5）监护人委托证明（仅未满18岁申请人需要）Guardian entrustment certificate (just for applicants under 18 years old)

II.短期班Short-term Chinese Language program of Northeastern University：

项目介绍/Program introduction

短期班(时间为2—6周)：一般在寒、暑假中举办（每年一月或七月的第三个星期开始），具体开课时间及教学内容等均可根据申请者的要求酌情安排，个人报名，最少开班人数为10人。如组团报名，学习时间、教学内容及活动安排可以商议。疫情期间提供线上汉语短期班项目，根据学生的汉语水平生开设具有针对性的汉语课程。

Short-term classes (2-6 weeks): Generally held in winter and summer vacations (starting in the third week of January or July each year), the specific start time and teaching content can be arranged according to the applicant’s requirements. For individual registration, the minimum number of participants is 10. For group registration, study time, teaching content and activity arrangements can be negotiated. During the epidemic period, we offer online short-term Chinese Language program, with targeted Chinese courses based on students’ language proficiency.

问如果我没有汉语基础可以报名学习汉语吗？

Q: May I apply to study Chinese at NEU with zero Chinese ability?

答可以。

问我可以申请只学习半年（一个学期）汉语吗？

Q: May I apply to study Chinese only for half a year (one semester)?

答可以。

A: Yes.

问我可以手填申请表邮寄，不在网上申报吗？

Q: May I fill in the application by hand rather than the online application?

答不可以，必须先在线填写，网上生成申请。

A: No. You must complete the online application, then submit, and generate the

application.

问除了在线申请，还需要交纸质版么？

Q: Besides online application, do I need to submit the hard copy?

答不需要。

A: No.

问如果我还没有护照，怎么填写护照信息？

Q: If I don’t have a passport, how should I fill in the passport info?

答没有护照不能申请。

A: You cannot apply without a passport.

问我的毕业证书和成绩单中文翻译件需要公证吗？

Q: Do I need to have my diploma and Chinese translated copy notarized?

答不需要。

A: No.

问我需要提供汉语水平证明吗？

Q: Do I have to provide Chinese proficiency certificate?

答如果有可提供，如果没有则不需提供。

A: No, it is not necessary. But you can upload it if you have one.

问如何知道申请结果？

Q: How can I get the result?

答请在网上申请系统中查询录取结果。

A: Please check the result in the online application system.
