Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine 2024 Guidebook for Overseas Undergraduate Program Applicants
I. APPLICATION
(1) Eligibility for Application
a. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health.
b. The applicant must possess education background equivalent to or above Chinese high school education.
c. The applicant’s Chinese proficiency must reach the new HSK Level 4 with a score of 180 or more (not required for those who have completed secondary or higher education program based on using Chinese as teaching medium).
d. International applicants with former permanent residency in P.R. China (Mainland), China-Hong Kong, China-Macau or China-Taiwan having emigrated abroad, must provide evidence for possession of current valid foreign passport or nationality documentation for more than 4 years (inclusive), and evidence or proof of actual residency abroad for more than 2 years within the previous 4 years period calculated by the 30th of April prior to the end of the academic year (actual residency is calculated by total of residency abroad for more than 9 months per year, subject to valid entry and exit date stamps on travel document).
(2) Application Materials
a. “Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine Application Form for Foreign Students”.
b. Scanned copy of passport (passport must be valid within 6 months from the date of submitting the application).
c. Scanned copy of the highest academic qualification and/or degree certificate: please submit scanned copy of the graduation certificate and (or) degree certificate; If the applicant is an in-school student, he/she must submit a scanned copy of enrollment certificate issued by the school.
d. A copy of HSK grade certificate (not required for those who have completed secondary or higher education in Chinese).
e. Digital Photo: 2-inch color photo, hatless, white background without border. The head occupies 2/3 of the photo size, and the photo size is no less than 320*240 Pixel, aspect ratio is 4:3, size is 100-500KB, JPG Format photo, named after passport number.
f. Financial proof.
g Proof of no criminal record.
h. Certificate of health check.
(3) Learning method
Full-time study.
(4) Registration time
From January to April 2024.
II. Assessment Format
Application Assessment Evaluation.
III. Acceptance
Merit-based admission is granted only to qualified applicants by the university. The admission notice and related enrollment information will be forwarded to qualified applicants by NJUCM (Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine) after middle of June 2024.
IV. Admission
*The admission schedule and other matters are subject to the announcement of the International Education College of NJUCM (Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine) .
*The admitted applicants should bring the original passport, “Admission Notice”, and “Confirmation Form for Study in China”(JW 202 form downloaded online) to the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) to apply for an entry study (X1) visa, and register in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine with the above documents according to the “Admission Notice” at the time specified in the above.
*Students who submit the enrollment certificate issued by the original school at the time of application must submit the original or notarized copy of the academic certificate as required when they are admitted to NJUCM. If admitted applicants fail to comply, then their admission will be disqualified. The original copy of the “Foreigner Physical Examination Form” must be submitted for verification when registering.
V. Degree
Students who have completed the course, passed the thesis defense and passed relevant deliberation, and comply with the provisions of the “Regulations on Academic Degrees of the People’s Republic of China”, can obtain the corresponding degree certificate and graduation certificate.
