Kaili University

Kaili University（KLU）originated from Qiandongnan University was established in 1958. In 2006, it was approved to be an undergraduate university by the Ministry of Education. The school campus covers an area of 1.1061 million square meters, with a building area of 325,000 square meters.There are 920 faculty members,11822 full-time students . KLU has 16 schools, 58 undergraduate majors and ethnic minority preparatory courses.

KLU adheres to open education policy and has established international student exchange programs and college student summer camp programs with many foreign universities such as University of the West in the United States , Hiroshima University in Japan, Woosong University in South Korea, Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry in Russia, Suranaree University of Technology and Chiang Mai University in Thailand, University Malaysia Sabah and Asia Euro University.

KLU has been recruiting international students since 1992, and ever since it has already trained more than 300 students from Germany, South Korea, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, and Cambodia among other countries. KLU campus has pleasant scenery and contains a profound atmosphere of culture and humanism , for the majority of teachers and students to provide a good learning, working and living environment.

Applicants must be:

•non-Chinese citizens

•aged 18-40 years old

•with a valid ordinary passport

•be in good health

•have attained a senior high school diploma

•application form

•a photocopy of the senior high school diploma（Chinese translation）

•senior high school report（Chinese translation）

•resume (English and Chinese version)

•foreigner physical examination

•a photocopy of the passport

•HSK Certificate if you have

•Students under 18 years of age need to provide guardianship certificates: official letter of attorney by parents (English and Chinese version); parents’ ID card or passports; Agent’s Guardianship Letter; agents’ ID card. All the signatures in the documents are signed by hand and no typing is allowed.

•Transferred overseas students are required to submit transcripts and letters of recommendation from the original school.

•other certificates(talents such as singing,dancing,sports,etc.)

•students who have entered China need to provide visa.

For eligible students, KailiUniversity will organize online video interviews. For those who are qualified for the interview, we will go through the relevant procedures for the admission of foreign students.

Written examinations and interviews for students will be conducted if it is necessary within two weeks of admission.

3. The submission dates are divided into two batches, one each prior to 30 June and 30 November of each year.

International students who come from schools or cooperative educational institution signed cooperation agreement with KLU are exempted from the first year’s tuition fee for language learning .

According to the regulations issued by the Chinese Ministry

According to the Chinese Ministry of Education,all international students are required to purchase the medical insurance.International students should purchase the Comprehensive Medical Insurance during registration period.Students who do not have the above-mentioned insurance will not be allowed to register. The premium is800RMB/Year.

•Dormitory.(4 in one room) Equipped with bed,table,wardrobe,network sockets,washroom,public laundry rooms (coin operated washing machines),vending machines.

•Eating.Four large canteens and many cook-shops on the campus.

•Transportation.Next toHigh-speed RailwayStation(10 min walk) and expressway. Many buses are also available from university to the downtown.

•Sports facilities.Gyms, stadiums, football fields, etc.
