一、学校概况

Ⅰ. About GUES

贵州工程应用技术学院（贵工程）创建于1938年，占地总面积 87公顷，位于贵州省西北部的毕节市，是贵州省位于市中心的本科院校之一。

* Guizhou University of Engineering Science (GUES), covering a total area of 87 hectares, was founded in 1938. It is located in the center of Bijie, a city endowed with beautiful natural environment and friendly atmosphere in the northwest of Guizhou Province.

现设有15个教学院、47个本科专业，学科门类涵盖工学、理学、教育学、文学、管理学、艺术学等7个学科。学校现有870名教职工，约12000名在校生。自2016年开始已有来自世界十多个国家、地区的留学生在此就读。

* The university offers 47 undergraduate programs in 14 schools, which cover seven disciplines, namely, engineering, natural science, education, humanities, literature, management, and arts. At present, there are 870 faculty members and nearly 12,000 undergraduates in GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science). International students from more than ten countries and regions around the world have been studying here since 2016.

IV. Application Requirements for Guizhou University of Engineering Science

Applicants must be:

1.18-25周岁（以2005年9月1日起计算,语言生可放宽到30岁），高中毕业或同等学历。

1. 18-25 years old (for Undergraduate program)；18-30 years old (for Chinese Language Program) (Calculated from September 1, 2005), and senior high school diploma or equivalent.

2.身心健康，品学兼优，对华友好，无违法犯罪记录。

2. Physically and mentally healthy, excellent in character and learning, friendly to China and no illegal and criminal record.

3.符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。

3. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport in compliance with all the requirements of the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China.

4.汉语进修生需证明高中英语成绩达到良好以上（成绩单须为原件或公证件，中、英文以外文本还需提供公证过的翻译件），且具有较好英语听说能力。

4. Chinese Language Program: The applicant is required to prove that high school English proficiency is B or above (The transcript must be the original or notarized copy, and the notarized translation must be provided for the text other than Chinese or English), and has good ability of listening and speaking in English.

5.学历生汉语 HSK 4级或以上证书；如无汉语基础者，需在我校进行一年语言预科学习达到 HSK 4级之后方可进入所报读专业学习。

5. Undergraduate Program; Applicants should have HSK 4 or above certification; if without the basic knowledge of Chinese language, applicants are required to attend one year of Chinese Language Program in GUES to pass HSK 4 before entering major.

1.网上报名

1. Online Application

(1)开放报名时间:2022年12月1日至2023年5月30日

(1) Application Period: from December 1, 2022 to May 30, 2023

(2) Upload Application Documents

除填写在线信息外，申请人应在申请系统开放时间内按要求上传附件材料。

In addition to filling in the online information, the applicant should upload the application documents as required within the Application Period of the Online Application System.

1）有效护照页复印件（有效期须为入境后至少6个月）。

þ在中国大陆境内的申请人还需提供签证页和居留许可页。

1) One photocopy of your passport valid for at least 6 months after entry.

* Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.

2）高中或以上阶段全部课程及成绩单，须为原件或公证件，中英文均可。

2) Official Transcripts of your senior high school (including all courses taken in senior high school). The transcript must be the original or notarized copy in Chinese or English.

3）高中毕业学历文件（应届毕业生可先提供预计毕业证明），须为原件或公证件，以及与外文学历对应统一的中文翻译件。

3) Senior High School Diploma. It must be the original or notarized copy and the corresponding Chinese translation one is needed. (Graduates from high school can provide pre-graduation Certificate.)

4）语言能力证明（汉语或英语），须为原件或公证件，中、英文以外文本还需提供公证过的翻译件。

4) Certification of Language Proficiency (Chinese or English). Original or notarized copy is needed, with notarized Chinese or English translation, if the original not in the two languages.

5）《外国人体格检查表》原件，检查结果有效期为1年。

5) Original of FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM. The results are valid for 1 year. (Applicants can download the form from the Online Application System and then go to the designated hospital in your host country for physical examination.)

6）截止至申请当月的银行流水证明，需涵盖6个月内的记录。

6) Bank Statement. It should cover at least the last six-month records (by the month of application).

7）《贵州工程应用技术学院外国留学生入学申请表》（可在报名系统下载填写，需贴上护照照片、亲笔签名）。

7) GUIZHOU UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE APPLICATION FORM FOR OVERSEAS CANDIDATES

(Applicants can download the form from Online Application System, which is needed to affix a passport photo and sign the name.)

8）中英文简历（可在报名系统下载填写，需贴上护照照片、提供初中以来的学习背景和工作经历，要求时间连贯）。

8) Resume in both Chinese and English. (Applicants can download the form from Online Application System. Applicants should affix a passport photo and provide consistent time of education or employment experience since junior high school on the resume.)

9）《贵州工程应用技术学院外国留学生奖学金申请表》或《贵州省外国留学生奖学金申请表》（需要申请奖学金的留学生可在报名系统下载填写，需贴上护照照片、亲笔签名）。

9) APPLICATION FORM OF GUIZHOU GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP or APPLICATION FORM FOR GUIZHOU UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

(Applicants can download both of the two forms from Online Application System, which are needed to affix passport photos and sign the name.)

10）无犯罪记录证明（申请人国籍国或常住地的警局或背景调查机构出具，需原件、公证和认证件）。

10) Statement of Non-criminal Record (from the Police Station or Background Verification Agency of applicants’ state of nationality or state of residence. An original, a notarized copy and a certified copy are all required.)

þ留学生提供的所有证书材料均须为原件和公证件，中、英文以外文本还需提供公证过的翻译件；申请人应按要求上传附件材料，附件材料为彩色扫描件，原件留存备查；如有需要，我校会要求申请人提交补充申请材料。

þ申请人可登录该申请系统查询申请进度和相关通知，联系电话与电子邮箱请保持畅通。

*All certification materials must be original and notarized. You are required to provide the notarized translation for documents not originally in Chinese or English. Applicants should upload the color scanned copies of documents as required and the originals should be retained for future reference. If necessary, the applicant will be asked to submit additional materials.

 *Please pay attention to the progress of your application in the Online Application System and make sure your telephone and E-mail can be connected.

2.材料审核和面试考核  

2. Documents Reviewing and Interview

我校将对申请材料进行审查，网上报名系统信息初审通过后，我校将收取申请费并安排面试。学校通过邮箱发送面试确认邮件，面试时间一旦确认不得修改。

The application materials will be reviewed by GUES. After passing the initial review of online application, you will receive an interview confirmation email and need to pay the application fee. Once the interview time is confirmed, it cannot be modified. 

3.录取

3. Admission

材料审核和面试考核均通过者，学校方予以录取。并寄发《录取通知书》《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。学生须持以上材料和《外国人体格检查记录》的原件和复印件，以及本人的有效普通护照到中国大使馆（总领事馆）等驻外签证机关申请来华学习签证。

For applicants who have passed the interview, GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science) will issue admission letters as well as relevant admission documents including the “Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form)”. After receiving Admission Letter and JW202 form, please bring them along with FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM (All of the three documents should be provided with the original and copy one.) and your passport to the Embassy of China for visa application.

4.报到

4. Registration for Guizhou University of Engineering Science

学生需于《录取通知书》上注明的时间到校报到注册，需携带所有申请材料原件、复印件及JW202表，到校后按规定缴纳入学费用。逾期未注册报到且未说明正当理由者，按自动退学处理。

New international students must register at GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science) according to the time specified in the Admission Letter. Please bring the original Admission Letter, JW202 Form, and all original and photocopies of application documents for registration and pay tuitions and fees. Those who fail to arrive on time without proper reasons are treated as voluntary dropouts.

七、奖学金

VII. Scholarships of Guizhou University of Engineering Science

来华留学生可提前申请以下奖学金，不可兼得。

International students can apply for the following scholarships in advance. The two cannot have both.
