申请资格 Eligibility to Apply Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
申请人须为非中国籍公民。中国公民移民外国后申请以外国留学生身份来华进行本科阶段学习的，必须持有有效外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上，且最近4年(截至入学年度的4月30日前)内有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在国外居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签证为准），并拥有已注销中国国籍的证明；
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens. Chinese citizens who apply for undergraduate study in China as foreign students after immigrating to a foreign country must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (including), have a certificate that you have cancelled your Chinese nationality and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for more than 2 years in the last 4 years (up to April 30 of the enrollment academic year) (the actual residence in a foreign country for more than 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, based on entry and exit visas).
身心健康，符合《中华人民共和国出入境管理法》规定以及国家和我校规定的录取体检要求，专业体检受限标准参照教育部、卫生部、中国残疾人联合会颁布的《普通高等学校招生体检工作指导意见》（教学〔2003〕3号）及有关补充规定执行。患有严重精神障碍、传染性肺结核病或者有可能对公共卫生造成重大危害等其他传染病的，不予录取；
The applicants shall be in good physical and mental health. In line with the provisions of the law of the people’s Republic of China on the administration of entry and exit and to meet with health requirements of China and our university, those suffering from serious mental disorders, infectious pulmonary tuberculosis or other infectious diseases that may cause risks to public health shall not be admitted. 申请攻读硕士研究生，须最低具有中国的学士学位或与中国学士学位相当的学位，年龄不超过35周岁；申请攻读博士研究生，须最低具有中国的硕士学位或与中国硕士学位相当的学位，年龄不超过40周岁。
For master’s degree applicants, a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required, and applicants should be under the age of 35; For PhD applicants, a master’s degree or its equivalent is required, and applicants should be under the age of 40;
来自官方语言为非英语国家的来华留学生，申请英文授课专业学习的，应达到IELTS雅思6.5分、TOEFL托福85分及以上或提供相当水平的语言能力证明，同时具备较强汉语能力者优先；申请中文授课专业学习的留学生，汉语水平需达到HSK-5级及以上水平。
Applicant from non-English speaking countries who apply for English-teaching programs should have IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 85points or above, or provide an equivalent level of language ability certificate; applicant with good Chinese language skill is preferred; Applicant who apply for Chinese-teaching programs should have HSK-5 certificate or above.
申请者应无犯罪记录，须遵守中国的法律、法规及学校纪律，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯，知华、友华。
Applicants should have no criminal record; abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. Respect Chinese people’s customs and habits, and be friendly to China.

申请资料Application Documents for Applying Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
1.护照个人信息页扫描件（护照有效期应至少到2025年2月1日）；
Scanned copy of passport personal information page (passport validity shall be at least until February 1st, 2025).If the validity period of your current passport does not meet the requirements; please renew your passport in time.
2.最高学历证明。非中英文文本的须附上经公证的中文或英文的译文。如申请人为应届毕业生，需提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明。录取后需补交学历证明原件或公证件（最迟须在入学前取得学位证书）。
The highest education certificate. For non-Chinese and English versions, notarized Chinese or English translation shall be attached. Applicants who have not graduated by the time of application are required to provide an official letter from their current university stating the expected graduation date.
3.加盖院校公章的最高学历学习成绩单。非中英文文本的须附上经公证的中文或英文的译文；
The highest academic transcript. For non-Chinese and English versions, notarized Chinese or English translation shall be attached.
4.个人陈述。按照陈述模板写，包括来华学习或研究计划（请详细说明研究背景、方法、内容、意义等，不少于800字）, 博士专业申请者需要另外提交简要的研究经历；
The applicant should submit a Chinese/English Personal statement and a brief research plan (over 800 words) with the emphasis on major background, research direction, and future study/research plan, etc., as well as a brief description of the intention to come to China and the understanding of China and the university. Besides, PhD program applicants need to submit a brief introduction of research experiences.
5.汉语/英语水平考试证书或同等语言能力水平证明（申请英文授课专业且来自英语为官方语言的国家的来华留学生不做要求）；
Chinese / English proficiency test certificate or equivalent language proficiency certificate (it is not required for overseas students come from the country where English is the official language and apply for English-teaching majors).

7.硕士申请者需提供相关领域两名副教授或教授的推荐信，博士申请者需提供相关领域两名教授或高级专业人员推荐信。用中文或英文书写，含推荐人的详细联系方式，开具日期在2023年12月1日之后；
Master program applicants should submit two academic recommendation letters from associate professors/professors in the related academic fields. Recommendation letters from two professors /senior professionals in related academic fields are required for PhD program applicants. .The employer, professional title, signature and contact information details of the recommender should be included. The issuance date is after December 1st, 2023.
8.申请人年龄不满18岁的，须提交在华法定监护人的相关法律文件；
If the applicant is under 18 years old, relevant legal documents of the legal guardian in China shall be submitted.
9.由银行出具的经费担保证明或经济担保人出具的担保证明（奖学金生不做要求）；
The funds guarantee certificate issued by the bank or the guarantee certificate issued by the economic guarantor (no requirement for scholarship students).
10.《外国人体格检查表》扫描件/复印件（中国卫生检疫部门统一印制）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《体格检查表》无效，体检结果有效期为6个月且于2024年1月份之后；
Scanned copy of physical examination form for foreigners (uniformly printed by China Health and quarantine department). The applicant shall carry out the examination in strict accordance with the items required in the physical examination form for foreigners. The physical examination form without items, personal photo, and stamp on the photo, signature of doctor and seal of hospital is invalid; the validity period of physical examination result is 6 months. (After January 2024).
11.无犯罪记录证明；
Certificate of no criminal record.
12.目前就读学校出具的在校表现情况证明（仅限境内学生）；
Applicants who are currently in China should also provide a Chinese or bilingual letter of recommendation on school performance issued by the international student management department or training college they are currently studying (except FAFU applicants).
13对华态度陈述（可依照提纲撰写）;
Statement of your views about China. Truthfully answer the questions and sign off.

注：上述材料一经发现造假，即刻取消申请资格。报到时查验上述原件，弄虚作假者，取消录取资格。
Note: The submitted materials must be clear, true and valid. The applicant is advised to use professional equipment to scan the relevant documents to be submitted and shall be responsible for any consequences resulting from unclear or unidentifiable documents. If the above materials are found to be fraudulent, the applicant will be disqualified immediately. The above originals shall be checked at the time of registration. Those who cheat will be disqualified for admission.
录取流程 Admission Process of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
资格初审-Preliminary Qualification Examination
国际学院对申请人进行资格初审，确保材料齐全，并审查护照、语言能力等信息；资格初审完成后，将符合要求的申请人名单及相关信息发送各学院。
the International College will conduct the preliminary qualification examination on the applicants to ensure that the materials are completed, and then review the passport, language ability certificate and other materials. After the preliminary qualification examination, the list of qualified applicants and relevant materials will be sent to each training college.
学术考核-Academic Assessment of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
培养学院收到通过资格初审名单后综合申请人提交的学习计划书等资料及导师初步接收意向拟定进入学术考核人选名单，培养学院将通过当面交流、网络视频或电话等方式对申请人进行考核，并确定拟录取名单汇总至国际学院。
The training college will choose applicants for academic assessment based on the materials submitted. The Proposed Admission List will be determined after the academic assessment, which is conducted by face-to-face communication, online video or telephone.
录取和后续事项-Admission and follow-up work
国际学院汇总各培养学院上报的拟录取名单，并在国际学院网站上公示10个工作日。公示期满后，国际学院将拟录取名单上报国际处提交学校及上级主管部门审批，通知留学生缴交报名费，制作并发送录取通知书等。
The International College collects the proposed admission list submitted by each training college and publishes it on the website for 10 working days. Upon the expiration of the publicity period, the International College will issue admission letters based on approval of relevant government department and FAFU.
报到时间-Registration Period of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
来华留学生新生注册报到时间为每年9月至10月，具体请看录取通知书。
The usual registration period for international students is from September to October. Please check the Admission Notice for exact registration time.
住宿-Accommodation of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
国际学院将为在规定时间内报到注册的新生安排校内住宿。
The International College will arrange on-campus accommodation for new students who register within the specified period.
