The Greater Bay Area (GBA), known officially as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, refers to the city cluster in the Pearl River Delta of South China.
It is made up of two special administrative regions and nine cities of Guangdong province.
By the end of 2020, the area owned space of around 56,100 square kilometers with around 86 million people living there.
With less than one percent of China’s total land space, the Greater Bay Area contributed to about 11 percent of China’s economy.
