一、学校概况

Ⅰ. General Information

þ贵州工程应用技术学院（贵工程）创建于1938年，占地总面积 87公顷，位于贵州省西北部的毕节市，是贵州省位于市中心的本科院校之一。

*Founded in 1938, Guizhou University of Engineering Science (GUES) is located in the center of Bijie, a beautiful city in the northwest of Guizhou province, and covers an area of 87 hectares.

þ现设有14个教学院、42个本科专业，学科门类涵盖工学、理学、教育学、文学、管理学、艺术学等7个学科。学校有860名教职工，专业课程主要由教授和副教授讲授。目前有来自全国16个省、市、自治区的全日制学生12000人。学校面向全球招收来华留学生，为留学生提供奖学金，自2016年开始已有来自世界十多个国家、地区的留学生在此就读。

*GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science) consists of 14 schools and provides 42 undergraduate programs, with a range of disciplines covering 7 categories: engineering, science, education, humanities, management, art, etc. There are 860 teachers in GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science) and major courses are mainly taught by professors and associate professors. At present, GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science) has a full-time enrollment of nearly12,000 undergraduates from 16 provinces of China. GUES (Guizhou University of Engineering Science) recruits international students from all over the world and provides scholarships for international students. Since 2016, international students from more than 10 countries and regions have studied here.

IV. Application Requirements for Guizhou University of Engineering Science

Applicants must be:

1.18-25周岁（以2004年9月1日起计算,语言生可放宽到30岁），高中毕业或同等学历。

1. Between 18 and 25 years old(for Undergraduate program), or between 18 and 30 years old (for Chinese Language Program). (Calculated from September 1, 2004, ). Senior high school diploma or equivalent.

2.身心健康，品学兼优，对华友好，无违法犯罪记录。

2. In good physical and mental health, perform well both academically and morally, be friendly to China and have no illegal and criminal record.

3.符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。

3. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and conform to all the requirements of the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China.

4.根据中华人民共和国教育部【教外函〔2020〕12号】，我校对接受留学生申请进入本科阶段学习做出如下补充规定：

4. According to the regulations of Ministry of Education of the PRC, applicants who apply undergraduate programs should comply with the following additional requirements:

(1)依据《中华人民共和国国籍法》第五条，父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，不具有中国国籍。其作为外国留学生申请进入我校本科阶段学习的，除符合学校的其他报名资格外，还应持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上（即2018年4月30日之前），且最近4年（截至入学年度的4月30日前）之内（即2018年4月30日至2022年4月30日）有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

(1) A person whose parents are both Chinese nationals and have both settled abroad, or one of whose parents is a Chinese national and has settled abroad, and who has acquired foreign nationality at birth shall not have Chinese nationality.The person, applying undergraduate program of GUES as an international student, must hold a valid passport or other relevant internationally recognized documents for at least 4 years (before April 30, 2018). Meanwhile, in the latest 4 years(from April 30, 2018 to April 30, 2022), the applicant must have lived overseas for 2 years(Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa).

(2)祖国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民并获得外国国籍后申请作为外国留学生进入我高等学校本科阶段学习的，要求同(1)。

(2) Applicants who immigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, applying undergraduate program of GUES as international students, should conform to additional requirements mentioned (1).

5. 汉语进修生需证明高中英语成绩达到良好以上（成绩单须为原件或公证件，中、英文以外文本还需提供公证过的翻译件），且具有较好英语听说能力。

5. Chinese Language Program: The applicant is required to prove that high school English proficiency is B or above(The transcript must be the original or notarized copy, and the notarized translation must be provided for the text other than Chinese or English), and has good ability of listening and speaking in English.

6.学历生汉语 HSK 4级或以上证书；如无汉语基础者，需在我校进行一年语言预科学习达到 HSK 4级之后方可进入所报读专业学习。

6. Undergraduate Program：Applicants should have HSK 4 or above certification; if the Chinese proficiency does not meet the required standard, they are required to attend one year of Chinese Language Program in GUES to pass HSK 4 before entering major.

VI. Application Procedures for Guizhou University of Engineering Science

1.网上报名

1. Online Application

(1)申请者登陆贵州工程应用技术学院国际学生服务平台报名。

(1) Sign up and log in to the Online Application System of GUES to fill in the information and upload application documents as required.

þ请确保所填信息真实有效，凡因误填、漏填或填报虚假、无效信息影响录取及入学者，一切不利后果和责任由申请人承担，联系电话与电子邮箱请保持畅通。

Please ensure the correctness and validity of provided information, and will bear all the responsibilities and results if there is false, omission or invalid information. Please make sure your telephone and E-mail can be connected.

(2)上传申请材料

(2) Upload Application Documents

除填写在线信息外，申请人应在申请系统开放时间内按要求上传附件材料。

In addition to filling in the online information, the applicant should upload the application documents as required within the Application Period of the Online Application System.

1）有效护照页复印件（有效期须为入境后至少6个月）。

þ在中国大陆境内的申请人还需提供签证页或居留许可页。

1) One photocopy of your passport valid for at least 6 months after entry.

* Applicants applying from China are required to provide a photocopy of the visa page or residence permit page.

2）高中或以上阶段全部课程及成绩单，须为原件或公证件，中英文均可。

2) Official Transcripts of your senior high school (including all courses taken in senior high school). The transcript must be the original or notarized copy, and the notarized translation must be provided for the text other than Chinese or English.

3）高中毕业学历文件（应届毕业生可先提供预计毕业证明），须为原件或公证件，以及与外文学历对应统一的中文翻译件。

3) Senior high school diploma, which must be the original or notarized copy, and the corresponding Chinese translation one must be provided. (Graduating high school students can provide pre-graduation Certificate.)

4）语言能力证明（汉语或英语），须为原件或公证件，中、英文以外文本还需提供公证过的翻译件。

4) Certification of language proficiency (Chinese or English), and it must be the original copy or a notarized copy. Certification in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

5）《外国人体格检查表》原件，检查结果有效期为6个月。

5) Original of FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM. The results are valid for 6 months. (Applicants can download the form from the Online Application System and then go to the designated hospital in your host country for physical examination. )

6）截止至申请当月的银行流水证明，需涵盖6个月内的记录。

6) Bank statements covering at least the last six months’ records (by the month of application).

7）《贵州工程应用技术学院外国留学生入学申请表》（可在报名系统下载填写，需贴上护照照片、亲笔签名）。

7) GUIZHOU UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE APPLICATION FORM FOR OVERSEAS CANDIDATES (Applicants can download the form from Online Application System and the form should be affixed a passport photo. The applicant should give one’s autograph in the form.)

8）中英文简历（可在报名系统下载填写，需贴上护照照片、提供初中以来的学习背景和工作经历，要求时间连贯）。

8) Resume in both Chinese and English. (Applicants can download the form from Online Application System and the form should be affixed a passport photo. Applicants should provide consistent time of education or employment experience since junior high school in the form.)

9）《贵州工程应用技术学院外国留学生奖学金申请表》《贵州省外国留学生奖学金申请表》（需要申请奖学金的留学生可在报名系统下载填写，需贴上护照照片、亲笔签名）。

9) APPLICATION FORM OF GUIZHOU GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP and APPLICATION FORM FOR GUIZHOU UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS (Applicants can download both of the two forms from Online Application System and the forms should be affixed a passport photo. The applicant should give one’s autograph in the forms.)

10）无犯罪记录证明（申请人国籍国或常住地的警局或背景调查机构出具，需原件、公证和认证件）。

10) Certificate of Non-criminal Record. (from the Police Station or Background Verification Agency of applicants’ state of nationalilty or state of residence. An original, a notarized copy and a certified copy are all required. )

þ留学生提供的所有证书材料均须为原件和公证件，中、英文以外文本还需提供公证过的翻译件；申请人应按要求上传附件材料，附件材料为彩色扫描件，原件留存备查；如有需要，我校会要求申请人提交补充申请材料，申请人也可浏览院系网站或与院系联系确认所需申请材料。

þ申请人可登录该申请系统查询申请进度和相关通知。

*All certification materials must be original and notarized. You are required to provide the notarized translation for documents not originally in Chinese or English. Applicants should upload the color scanned copies of documents as required and the originals should be retained for future checking. If necessary, GUES will ask the applicants to submit additional materials. Applicants can also look through the website of GUES or contact us to confirm the required documents.

*Please pay attention to the status of your application in the Online Application System.

2.材料审核和面试考核

2. Documents reviewing and Interview

我校将对申请材料进行审查，网上报名系统信息初审通过后，我校将收取申请费并安排面试。学校通过邮箱发送面试确认邮件，面试时间一旦确认不得修改。面试时间、内容和方式将另行通知。

GUES will review the application materials. After passing the initial review of online application, you will receive an interview confirmation email and need to pay the application fee. Once the interview time is confirmed, it cannot be modified. The interview time, contents and ways will be notified at the right time.

3.录取

3. Admission 

材料审核和面试考核均通过者，学校方予以录取。并寄发《录取通知书》《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。学生须持以上材料和《外国人体格检查记录》的原件和复印件，以及本人的有效普通护照到中国大使馆（总领事馆）等驻外签证机关申请来华学习签证。

For applicants who have passed the interview, GUES will issue admission letters as well as relevant admission documents including the “Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form)”. After receiving Admission Letter and JW202 form, please bring them along with FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM (all of the three documents need originals and photocopies) and your passport to the Embassy of China for visa application.

4.报到

4. Registration for Guizhou University of Engineering Science

学生需于《录取通知书》上注明的时间到校报到注册，需携带所有申请材料原件、复印件及JW202表，到校后按规定缴纳入学费用。逾期未注册报到且未说明正当理由者，按自动退学处理。

New international students must report in person at GUES according to the time specified in the Admission Letter. Please bring the original Admission Letter, JW202 Form, and all original and photocopies of application documents for registration and pay tuitions and fees. Those who fail to register according to the specified time without proper reasons are treated as voluntary dropouts.

七、奖学金

来我校学习的来华留学生可提前申请以下奖学金：

Guizhou Government Scholarship：

þ全额奖学金/部分奖学金/专项奖学金；按贵州省有关规定执行。

2. 贵州工程应用技术学院来华留学生奖学金

Scholarship for International Students of GUES

þ按贵州工程应用技术学院有关规定执行。

*Be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations of GUES.

备注：以上各类奖学金不可兼得，留学生可在报名系统里下载奖学金申请表填报申请；新生奖学金期限为新生入学后第一学年，学校将依据其在校学习成绩及综合表现进行学年综合考评，并按照学校相关规定评定下一学年留学生奖学金。

*Note: The scholarship must be one or the other but never both. International students can download the scholarship application form in the Online Application System. Freshmen’s scholarship is for the first academic year after admission. The scholarship for next academic years shall be evaluated in accordance with the relevant regulations of GEUS and your academic achievements and comprehensive performance.
