East China University of science and technology, located in Shanghai, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of education of the people’s Republic of China, covering 11 disciplines. It is ranked as the national “double first-class双一流”, “Project 211211工程” and “985 Project advantageous discipline innovation platform985工程优势学科创新平台”. It has been selected into the national innovation ability improvement program of higher schools, the Chinese government scholarship institution for overseas students in China, and is the national science and technology work seminar of 16 key engineering universities Member of high-level industry characteristic university high-quality resource sharing alliance.

The East China University of Technology, formerly known as East China Institute of chemical engineering, was established by the chemical engineering departments of Jiaotong University交通大学, Aurora University震旦大学, Datong University大同大学, Soochow University苏州大学, Jiangnan University江南大学, and other universities in 1952. In 1956, it was designated as one of the first batches of graduate schools in China.
It was identified as a national key university directly under the Ministry of education in 1960 and renamed East China University of science and technology in 1993; In 1996, it became a key university under the national “211 Project211工程”.

As of January 2022, East China University of Science and Technology has three campuses: Xuhui徐汇, Fengxian奉贤, and Jinshan金山.

He is mainly engaged in oil refining, chemical industry, engineering management, and oil and gas exploration.
In the long-term practice of petrochemical engineering construction, Wang Jiming put forward the management concept, method, and mode suitable for China’s oil refining and chemical engineering construction.
