Founded in 1956, Dalian Jiaotong University is an institution of higher education featured rail transit and interdisciplinary software talent training. The University is located at the southernmost tip of Liaodong Peninsula and in Dalian, a beautiful coastal city. It is a key university in Liaoning Province, with the right of conferring doctorate, master’s degree and bachelor’s degree, and its Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering are both first-class majors in Liaoning Province. The University has 970 full-time teachers and 19,349 full-time students.

Running school openly, the University is entitled to recruit international students with Chinese government-funded scholarship, and it is also the “121 Project” Innovative Talent Training Base under the Sino-US Talent Training Program, with its cooperation reached more than 100 colleges, universities and scientific research institutions in Australia, the United States, Japan, Russia and other countries. In addition, it has witnessed Sino-Japan Friendship (Dalian) Talent Training Centre, one Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school and other three Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Programs set up on campus.

Since its establishment, the University has brought up more than 100,000 graduates, and most of them work in rail transit industry, with some already becoming the industrial leaders and technical experts. Dalian Jiaotong University is known in the industry as “Cradle of Engineers of Chinese Rail Transit Equipment Manufacturing”.

In this new era, the University, which centers on the comprehensive and all-round Revitalization of Liaoning and the development of modern rail transit equipment manufacturing industry, seize development opportunities such as the “Belt and Road” Initiative and “Transportation Power”, implement the “14th Five-Year Plan” for Development comprehensively, make every effort to accelerate the “Double Tops” construction, and create a new situation of high-quality development of the university.

Program Offering and Application

(I.) Doctorate Program (Teaching in Chinese)

Candidate must be under 40 years old, with a master’s degree or equivalent at least, HSK level 4 (or above 180 points). Program schooling: 3-5 years.

*If your Chinese proficiency does not meet the requirements, you may first receive our Chinese language training for 1-2 years.

(II.) Master’s Program (Teaching in Chinese)

Candidate must be under 35 years old, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent at least, HSK level 4 (or above 180). Length of Schooling: 3 years.

* If your Chinese proficiency does not meet the requirements, you may first receive our Chinese language training for 1-2 years.

(III.) Bachelor’s Program (Teaching in Chinese)

Candidate must be under 25 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent at least, HSK level 4 (or above 180). Length of Schooling: 4 years.

* If your Chinese proficiency does not meet the requirements, you may first receive our Chinese language training for 1-2 years.

(IV.) Bachelor’s Program (Teaching in English)

Candidate must be under 25 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent at least, English as native language or official language, or IELTS 6.0 or TOFEL 78, or other English proficiency proof. Length of Schooling: 4 years.

(V.) Chinese Language Program of Further Learning

Candidate must be under 60 years old, with good health, observance of Chinese laws and regulations, and loving Chinese culture. Length of Schooling: no limit.

(VI.) Ordinary or Advanced Program of Further Learning

Candidate must be under 45 years old, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to apply Ordinary Further Education Program, or a master’s degree or equivalent to apply Advanced Further Education Program. For both programs, there is no limitation on teaching language or length of schooling.

Dalian Jiaotong University Application Deadline and Way of Submission

(I.) Application Deadline

Degree-seeking applicants should submit their applications before July 15th for each autumn semester began in September.

Further-education applicants may submit their applications any time.

(II.) Way of Application Submission

Applicants should submit their applications in line with above-mentioned requirement to International Cooperation and Exchange Center(International Students Department) of Dalian Jiaotong University, through either of the following ways:

Submit your paper applications in person orentrust others to submit them;
Mail your paper applicationsto the mailing address (see contact information);
Send your electronic applicationsto [email protected], with all application materials sent in one time from only one email address.
Enrollment Registration

Students received our offer should sign up according to the requirements and deadlines as specified in the Offer of Dalian Jiaotong University for International Students. If they are unable to sign up on time, students must get the approval of our university, otherwise it shall be deemed as a voluntary waiver.

Upon sign-up, all study expenses (including tuition fees, registration fees, accommodation fees, insurances, etc.) shall be paid in full amount to aviod sign-up rejection. International students shall properly keep the receipts issued in case of any use.

After the sign-up, a qualification re-check will be conducted to find out unqualified students and remove their admission.

一、学校简介

Dalian Jiaotong University大连交通大学创建于1956年，是一所以轨道交通和复合型软件人才培养为特色的高等学校。学校位于辽东半岛的最南端，风景秀丽的大连市。学校是辽宁省一流学科重点建设高校，具有博士、硕士、学士学位授予权。机械工程、材料科学与工程学科是辽宁省高等学校一流学科。学校现有专任教师970人，全日制在校生19349人。

二、留学项目及申请条件

（一）博士研究生项目（汉语授课）

年龄在40周岁以下，须具有中国硕士学位或与中国硕士学位相当的学历，HSK 4级（180分以上）。学制3-5年。

＊如果申请者的汉语水平未达到要求，可申请在我校进行1-2年的汉语补习。

（二）硕士研究生项目（汉语授课）

年龄在35周岁以下，须具有中国学士学位或与中国学士学位相当的学历，HSK 4级（180分以上）。学制3年。

（三）本科生项目（汉语授课）

年龄在25周岁以下，须具有中国高中毕业相当的学历，HSK4级（180分以上）。学制4年。

（四）本科生项目（英语授课）

年龄在25周岁以下，须具有中国高中毕业相当的学历，英语为母语或官方语言，或雅思成绩达到6.0分或托福78分，或其他英语能力证明。学制4年。

（五）汉语进修生项目

年龄在60周岁以下，身体健康，遵守中国法律，热爱中国文化，学习期限不限。

（六）普通进修生、高级进修生项目

五、申请时间及申请材料提交方式

（一）申请时间

学历生：秋季（九月）开学，报名截止日期：每年7月15日。

进修生：全年任意时间均受理。

（二）申请材料提交方式

申请人须按照材料要求，将申请材料提交至大连交通大学国际合作交流处中心（留学生部）。申请材料提交方式可选择以下方式之一：

1.申请者本人递交或委托他人递交；

2.邮寄（邮寄地址见联系方式）；

3.电子版发送至[email protected]，所有申请材料用一个邮件发送。

六、注册报到

被录取的留学生应于《大连交通大学留学生录取通知书》所指定的要求和期限来校报到，因故不能按时报到者，必须征得学校同意。否则，将视为自动放弃入学资格。

学生报到时，必须按规定足额缴纳各项费用（包括学费、报名费、住宿费、保险费等）否则不予办理报到手续。留学生缴费时，请妥善保管收据，以备查用。

新生报到后，学校组织复查。不符合入学条件者，取消其入学资格。
