Police in northeast China’s Shenyang City have arrested four suspects for helping 36 foreigners work in the country illegally with faked documents since 2018, the National Immigration Administration (NIA) said Friday.
The four include two foreigners suspected as intermediaries and two Chinese nationals, who were identified by their surnames as Zhang and Lei and allegedly forged documents necessary for the foreigners to work in China, according to the NIA.
The 36 foreigners, scattered in several Chinese cities, have been repatriated.
