一、学校简介
I. Overview of China West Normal University
西华师范大学是四川省属重点大学，坐落于历史文化名城四川省南充市。建校78年来，学校现已发展成为一所学科门类齐全、办学条件优良、师资力量雄厚、教学科研成果丰硕的综合性大学。学校成功入选国家卓越人才教育培养计划和四川省双一流建设计划、卓越教师培养计划、首批免费师范生培养计划，是全国首个被授牌“四川省优秀大学生选调基地”的省属高校。
China West Normal University is a key university in Sichuan Province, located in the historical and cultural city of Nanchong, Sichuan Province. In the past 78 years since its establishment, the university has developed into a comprehensive university with a full range of disciplines, excellent operating conditions, strong faculty, and fruitful teaching and research achievements. The university has been successfully selected as one of the national excellent talents education training program, Sichuan Province double first-class construction program, excellent teacher training program and the first batch of free teacher training program, and is the first provincial university in China to be awarded the “Sichuan Excellent College Student Selection Base”.
学校坚持开放办学，对外交流广泛。与日本千叶大学（Chiba University）、英国桑德兰大学（University of Sunderland）、美国中央俄克拉荷马大学（University of Central Oklahoma）、台湾师范大学等10余个国家和地区的20余所高校签署校际合作协议，并开展各类层次、不同国别的学术科研交流、教师互派访学、学生交流等项目。
The school insists on opening up the school and has extensive external exchanges. We have signed inter-university cooperation agreements with more than 20 universities in more than 10 countries and regions, including Chiba University (Japan), University of Sunderland (UK), University of Central Oklahoma (USA), and National Taiwan Normal University. The university also carries out academic and research exchanges, faculty visits and student exchanges at various levels and in different countries.
国际学院成立于2015年，主要负责学校来华留学生的招生培养及管理、留学生汉语文化教学与研究、汉语国际推广等。学院重点面向“一带一路”沿线国家招收学历生和语言生，九年来在招生宣传、专业教育、实习实践、教学管理、后勤服务、就业发展、文化交流等方面取得了长足的发展，留学生教育初具规模。
Established in 2015, the International College is mainly responsible for the enrollment and management of international students, teaching and research of Chinese culture for international students, and international promotion of Chinese language. The college focuses on recruiting academic and language students from the countries along the “Belt and Road” and has made great development in enrollment, professional education, practice, teaching management, logistics service, employment development and cultural exchange in the past nine years, and the education of international students has taken shape.
学历培养层次主要是本科和研究生，其中硕士学位研究生招生专业有：公共管理、汉语国际教育、有机化学、环境科学与工程等专业；本科学士学位招生专业有：国际经济与贸易、电子信息工程、国际中文、软件工程等专业。目前学院2021、2022、2023级在读本科生190余名，在读硕士研究生50余名，专业教师与管理团队12人。
The academic training level is mainly undergraduate and graduate, among which the enrollment of master’s degree graduate majors are: public administration, Chinese International Education，organic chemistry, Environmental Science and Engineering, etc.; the enrollment of undergraduate bachelor’s degree majors are: international economics and trade, electronic information engineering, international Chinese, soft engineering, etc. At present, the College has more than 190 undergraduate students in the 2021、2022 and 2023 classes, 50 master’s students in the College, and 12 professional teachers and management team.
学院自2015年招收第一批本科生以来，共计毕业生已经超过了70余人，其中继续攻读硕士学位20余人，继续攻读博士学位7人，考研考博率总共超40%，毕业生就业率100%。
Since the first batch of undergraduates was enrolled in 2015, the total number of graduates has exceeded70, of which more than 20have pursued master’s degree and7have pursued doctoral degree, with a total rate of over40% for graduate studies and 100% employment rate.
二、校园设施
II. Facilities of China West Normal University
学校为留学生提供了优质的软硬件设施条件，让他们拥有良好的学习和生活环境。学校有游泳池、超市、咖啡厅（可免费上网）、体育馆、健身房、留学生公共厨房、标准运动场等各类球类活动场地。留学生公寓为标准学生公寓（4人/间），带独立卫生间，24小时热水，空调。
学校每年定期组织留学生进行文化考察，费用由学校承担。
The school provides high-quality software and hardware facilities for international students, so that they have a good learning and living environment. Swimming pools, supermarkets, coffee shops(free Internet access), public kitchen, gymnasiums, standard sport grounds and other ball game venues are available on campus. The international student apartments are standard student dormitories which hold four students per suite, equipped with a bathroom, an air-conditioner and 24-hour hot water supply.
The school organizes international students to go on free cultural tours every year.

◆ 学历生需提供的材料：
1.申请者本人及担保人签名的《西华师范大学来华留学生入学申请表》；
2.填写《西华师范大学外国留学生家庭成员情况信息表》。
3.近两个月正规医院体检证明；
4.申请者护照或身份证复印件一份；
5.近期护照用免冠白底照片三张；
6.本人最后学历、学位证书的复印件或大学在学证明（需公正）；
7.高中或大学的成绩单及其复印件（需公正）；
8.申请英文项目的，还需提供相应的TOEFL或IELTS考试成绩或官方英文水平证明函；
9.HSK证书复印件（若有，则提供）；
10.专家推荐信，申请硕士学位及以上一般要求两名副教授（或相当职称）以上专家、学者的推荐信；
11.个人学习计划；
12.经济担保证明（需公正）；
13.担保人或机构出具的担保人身份证明复印件一份；
Application Materials for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs
1.Fill in Application Form for Admission of CWNU (China West Normal University) downloaded from the website of International College of CWNU, co-signed by applicant and guarantor;
2.Fill in the form of Students’ Family Background downloaded from the website of International College of CWNU (China West Normal University) .
3.Valid physical Examination Form in recent two months;
4.One scanning copy of passport or identity document;
5. Three personal ID photos(cap-free, one inch);
6. Notarized highest diploma (High school certificate or on-study certificate issued by current school);
7. Notarized transcript and copy of high school or current school;
8. Scanning copy of TOEFL/ IELTS certificate is needed if applying for English program;
9. Scanning copy of HSK certificate if you have;
10. Two experts’(usually associate professor or above) recommendation letters are needed if applying for master’s degree;
11. Personal statement: please write your personal statement and research plan in your personal statement in Chinese or English;
12. Notarized financial statement: evidence of financial support;
13. Scanning copy of identification document of guarantor;
补充说明：
1. 在华学习或工作者除需提供上述文件外，还应提供：
（1）护照签证页复印件或居留许可复印件（必须包括居留许可有效期页）；
（2）在华学习者，应提供所在学校来华留学生管理部门的转学同意函、成绩单和推荐信；
（3）在华任教或工作者，报名时应提供受聘单位的预计解除工作合同函；
（4）享受中国政府奖学金的在华来华留学生，如奖学金期满报读自费留学，应同时提供其所在国驻华使馆同意报考的函件；
（5）外交人员子女、家属就读期间，应提交自愿放弃外交豁免权承诺书。
2. 申请材料传真件无效，所寄材料不予退还。
Reminder:
1. Applicants already studying or working in China should also submit the following materials:
(1) A copy of the visa page of the passport or the residence permit (including the page of valid period of residence permit );
(2) Candidates currently studying in China should provide the transfer consent letter, transcripts and recommendation letter from the department of overseas education;
(3) Applicants currently working in China should provide the official letter of termination of contract by the employer;
(4) Applicants in China who enjoy Chinese government scholarships and apply to study at their own expense upon the expiration of the scholarship period should also provide a letter of approval from the Embassy of their country in China;
(5) Children or family members of diplomatic personnel shall submit a letter of commitment to voluntarily renounce diplomatic immunity during study.
2. The fax of application materials is invalid, and the materials will not be returned.

All students who plan to apply, log in to: https://cwnu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx， Fill in the information according to the system requirements and upload relevant materials.
七、审查与录取
VII. Review and Admission
1.国际学院来华留学办公室根据学生提交的材料，按照规定对申请人材料进行审查，审查合格后，学生缴纳报名费，学院对缴纳了报名费的同学进行面试。学院约在面试后1周内为拟录取同学发放录取通知书，2周内发放《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（即JW202表），学生按照要求的时间办理入学手续。
1.The International College’s Office for Studying Abroad in China reviews the application materials submitted by students in accordance with regulations. After passing the review, students pay the registration fee, and the college conducts interviews with students who have paid the registration fee. The college will issue admission notices to prospective students within one week after the interview, and issue the “Application Form for Foreign Students’ Visa to China” (i.e. JW202 Form) within two weeks. Students will complete the admission procedures according to the required time
2.录取者应严格按照《录取通知书》上的时间和地点来校报到。
2. Students should register in strict accordance with the time and place in the admission notice.
八、入学时间

九、学位
IX. Degree
完成我校本科生、硕士研究生培养方案规定的课程及其专业培养要求，完成学位论文并通过论文答辩，授位标准符合西华师范大学有关规定及《中华人民共和国学位条例》者，即可获相应的本科、硕士毕业证、学位证。
Diploma will be granted to those who complete the courses designed in the training program of our school, compose the thesis, pass the oral defense, and meet the awarding regulations of the CWNU and China.
十、违规处理
X. About Violation of Regulations
新生于2024年秋季入学，具体时间在“录取通知书”中注明。新生入学后1月内，我校将按《普通高等学校学生管理规定》相关要求，对所有考生进行全面复查，复查不合格的，取消学籍。新生应按时报到，如有特殊原因不能按时报到者，须书面向我校请假，无故逾期两周不报到者，取消入学资格。
Freshmen are required to register on campus in autumn of 2024, and the specific time is shown in the Admission Letter. Within three months after admission, the university will conduct a comprehensive review of all candidates in accordance with the relevant regulations. If they fail to pass the review, their student status will be canceled. Freshmen should register on time, and asking for a leave with written materials if they are unable to come on time for special reasons. Those who fail to inform for two weeks without any reason will be disqualified.
十一、南充简介
XI.About Nanchong City
南充市处在四川省东北部，距离省会成都200多公里、距离重庆约180公里。高速、铁路、机场等交通便利，成都到南充汽车高速约2.5小时；动车约1.5小时。
南充风景旅游资源丰富，旅游景点60余处。有国家级历史文化名城阆中和省级历史文化名城南充，有以三国文化为主线的陈寿万卷楼、张桓侯祠等，有省级风景名胜区锦屏山、西山、白云寨、升钟水库等，还有朱德故里、罗瑞卿故里等，集历史文化名城、三国文化、朱德元帅故里为一体，是中国优秀旅游城市。
Nanchong City is located in northeast Sichuan Province, about 200 kilometers from the provincial capital Chengdu City, and about 180 kilometers from Chongqing City. Nanchong City enjoys convenient transportation, such as expressway, high-speed railway, airport. And it takes only about 2.5 hours from Chengdu to Nanchong by bus and 1.5 hours by bullet train.
Nanchong is rich in tourism resources, with more than 60 tourist attractions. There is a national historical and cultural town Langzhong. As a provincial historical and cultural city, there are tourism attractions related with Three Kingdoms, such as Chenshou Ten Thousand Book Tower, Zhanghuanhou Temple, provincial scenic spots, such as Jinping Mountain, Xishan Mountain, Baiyunzhai, Shengzhong Reservoir, as well as Red tourist destinations such as Zhu De’s Hometown, Luo Ruiqing’s Hometown etc. In a word, Nanchong is an excellent tourism city in China.
