(2) Chinese Government Scholarship
Complete the online application procedure at CGS Information Management System for International Students (Visit http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or http://www.campuschina.org and click “Application Online” to log in), submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, and print a hard copy.
The agency number of China Medical University is 10159.
(3) Liaoning Provincial Government Scholarship
Applicants for Liaoning Provincial Government scholarship should submit all their application materials to the email [email protected] in the form of compressed package for registration and send the corresponding hard copies of the documents to CMU..

Entry Requirements
1. Basic Requirements
(1) Applications are open to foreign citizens with reliable financial support and stability who are in good situation of health. Applicants should have no record of violation of discipline, punishment for public security, and conduction of criminal. Applicants should hold friendly attitude towards China and have good conduct. They should also comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect Chinese culture and traditions.
(2) International students who were once Chinese citizens and have immigrated to a foreign country should hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for 4 or more years, and have a record proving that the applicants have stayed abroad for more than 2 years during the last 4 years (staying abroad for over 9 months in a year will be counted as one year and calculation of the duration of stay will be based on the entry and exit stamps ).
(3) International students have foreign nationality at birth, whose parents are both Chinese citizens, or one of the parents is an Chinese citizen, they should hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for 4 or more years, and have a record proving that the applicants have stayed abroad for more than 2 years during the last 4 years (staying abroad for over 9 months in a year will be counted as one year and calculation of the duration of stay will be based on the entry and exit stamps ).
2. Requirement of Language Proficiency
(1) Chinese language proficiency of HSK Level 4 or above (for Chinese-taught program applicants).
(2) Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese or who was taught in Chinese in the previous stage of teaching are required to provide relevant certificates. After being recognized by our school, they can be exempted from providing HSK scores
3. Other Requirements
(1) Master degree or above.
(2) The academic achievement during Master period shall be above the medium level, the research direction and study plan shall be clear.
(3) Aged under 40.
Documentary requirements for China Medical University
1. Scanned copy of the passport (photo page, the latest exit/entrance record visa page, two blank visa pages).
2. Master degree transcripts and graduation diploma (Students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating the expected graduation date, and submit the graduation diploma if admitted), which should be the original documents or certified copies in Chinese or English.
3. Chinese Proficiency Certificate (HSK Level 4 or above).
4. Study plan (more than 1000 words). Doctoral students should submit with the signature of their supervisors. The study plan can only be written in Chinese or English.
5. Letter of Recommendation from two professors or associate professors. The letter should focus on the requirements for the applicant’s study objectives in China, the cooperation between Chinese institutions or Chinese supervisors and foreign supervisors or inter-school exchanges, and the evaluation of the students ‘comprehensive ability and future development. The letter can only be written in Chinese or English.
6. An acceptance letter from CMU supervisor.
7. For the current applicants in China, the following documents are also required to submit in addition to the ones mentioned above:
(1) residence permit page;
(2) transfer certificate/no objection certificate/graduation certificate;
(3) transcripts from the previous school;
(4) registration form of temporary residence for Visitors from Overseas;
(5) foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Application Procedure for China Medical University
1. Online application.
Access the online application system (https://ies.cmu.edu.cn) to make your application.
The application system is accessible from February to Late July 2023.
Applicants must fill in real, correct and complete information online and upload application materials as required. The applicant will be responsible for all consequences and responsibility should there be any wrong, missing or false information and the admission and enrollment becomes affected as a result.
2. After receiving the application, CMU (China Medical University) will examine the application materials. For applicants who have passed the application document examination and online interview, CMU (China Medical University) will issue electronic acceptance letters。
3. Once receiving the acceptance letters, applicants shall pay full tuition fee for the first year (not refundable) within a given time, and upload the remittance letter to the application system.
4. Applicants who pay the full tuition fee will be enrolled officially.
5. CMU will issue an “Visa Application Form for Study in China”（JW202 form）and “Admission Notice letter”.
6. Students holding “Admission Notice letter” and “Visa application Form for Study in China”（JW202 form）issued by our school can apply for X1 visa to study in China at the People’s Republic of China Embassy or Consulates.
Medical Insurance of studying in China Medical University
All international students must apply for medical insurance in accordance with the relevant regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the school. If the insurance is not purchased within the time limit, the school will not admit the applicants or cancel the enrollment qualification.
Registration
1. Admitted applicants should register at the school within the specified time and complete the enrollment procedures according to the admission notice. Those who are unable to register on time for some reasons should submit application for postponement of registration to the school in advance. It is deemed to have waived the admission qualification automatically if the applicants leave or leave overdue for more than two weeks (10 working days) except for some legitimate reasons such as force majeure.
2. After enrollment, students must undergo a review of admission qualifications. If fraudulent or tampering with application materials is found during the application process, their admission qualifications will be cancelled. All responsibilities and consequences arising therefrom shall be borne by the applicant.
3. New students shall go through the formalities for confirmation of the Record of Physical Examination of Foreigners at the Chinese Department of Health and Quarantine or have a physical examination when they enter the school. International students who do not meet the health standards stipulated by the Chinese government shall be subject to the relevant provisions of the Regulations on the Administration and Admission of International Student from China Medical University. The entry-exit administration department or the school shall persuade them to withdraw or retain their admission qualifications according to laws and regulations, and the relevant expenses shall be borne by the students.
