The university is located in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2,500 years. The university (Shaoyang University) boasts excellent infrastructure, covering an area of 1.6748 million square meters, with building space totaling 0.8605 million square meters. It possesses assets worth 1.445 billion yuan, research and teaching instruments valued at 0.549 billion yuan, and a library collection of 3.195 million volumes, including 1.27 million electronic books and 1,471 types of periodicals in Chinese and foreign languages.
