Chongqing University 2025 Application Guide for Postgraduate Programs of Chongqing University Full-time postgraduate education at Chongqing University: Duration of programs: 2-3 years for Master’s degree; 4 years for Ph.D. degree. Language of instruction: Chinese / English.  ELIGIBILITY     1. Non-Chinese citizen with valid ordinary passport.     2. In good physical and mental health; in excellent academic standing and with good conduct; abide by the laws and decrees of China and comply with rules and regulations of Chongqing University.     3. Education & Age Requirements: Self-support: Doctoral degree applicants shall be a Master’s degree holder, under 45 years old. Master’s degree applicants shall be a bachelor’s degree holder, under 40 years old; Scholarship: Doctoral degree applicants shall be a Master’s degree holder, under 40 years old. Master’s degree applicants shall be a bachelor’s degree holder, under 35 years old.     4. Not be recipients of any other scholarships at the same time.
