The ticket sales ceremony for the 2024 Wuhan Open tennis competition took place on Aug 20, announcing ticket prices ranging from 50 yuan ($7.01) to 1,880 yuan. Tickets for this year’s Wuhan Open officially went on sale on the same day.
The officially designated ticketing platforms for the 2024 Wuhan Open include Damai, Ctrip, Piaoxingqiu, ShowStart, and Kange bisai, offering various ticket types, such as Carnival tickets, Enjoyment tickets, and Central Court tickets.
Prices for Central Court tickets range from 580 yuan to 1,880 yuan, while grandstand tickets range from 180 yuan to 680 yuan, available for day and evening sessions. In addition to these tickets, limited special offer single tickets and packages are also available, with the special offer ticket sales period running from Aug 20 to 22 only.
The Wuhan Open this year will be upgraded to a WTA 1000-level event, running from Oct 5 to 13, with qualifying matches starting on Oct 5 and the main matches scheduled from Oct 7 to 13. Approximately 120 top players, including Zheng Qinwen, Aryna Sabalenka, and Iga Swiatek, will compete in the tournament then.
The competition will take place at the Central Court and Court 1 of the Optics Valley International Tennis Center, as well as the Hubei Olympic Sports Center. Exciting matches are expected on all courts throughout the main-match schedule.
In addition to the matches, the Wuhan Open this year will feature special activities such as the “Wuhan Open Carnival”, “Let’s Play Tennis”, and “City-wide Tennis Fever”. Participants can engage in a variety of tennis activities, enjoy cultural performances, purchase sports equipment, and even interact face-to-face with international tennis stars.
