The Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai has launched an initiative to support young jobseekers, giving them the opportunity to avail themselves of free accommodation for up to 15 days.
The initiative, called the Youth Hostel project, was launched by Shanghai Lingang Special Area Investment Holding Group Co Ltd.
The hostel project features five one-bedroom apartments and five two-bedroom apartments in the trial phase.

Through online applications, each stay at the hostel is limited to a maximum of three days, with a cumulative cap of 15 days.
After confirming the room and check-in time with the hostel manager, approved applicants can proceed to the check-in process at the designated time.
Subsequent rental termination procedures can also be handled online.
In addition to their lodgings, the hostel aims to offer a wide array of services to boost the overall experience of its residents.
The services include guidance on employment policies, cultural and leisure activities, sports facilities and networking opportunities.
