Shanghai’s Pudong New Area has decided to launch a second round of “Le Xiang Pudong” dining discount vouchers. Here is all the key info:
1. Distribution schedule
The second round began distribution at 11 am on Dec 6, with another three batches set for 11 am on the following dates:
– Dec 13
– Dec 20
– Dec 27
Note: Notice will be issued before the release of each batch of dining coupons.
1. Eligibility
The vouchers are available to anyone currently in Shanghai.
2. Voucher values
Four types of vouchers are available, each with different values and minimum spending requirements:
– 60 yuan: Valid with a minimum spending of 200 yuan.
– 160 yuan: Valid with a minimum spending of 400 yuan.
– 240 yuan: Valid with a minimum spending of 600 yuan.
– 400 yuan: Valid with a minimum spending of 900 yuan.
Note: Only one voucher can be used per transaction.
1. How to claim the vouchers
Vouchers are available on a “first come, first served” basis through the Meituan (including Dazhong Dianping) and Douyin platforms.
Steps to claim:
– Log in to the designated platforms at the release time.
– Enable location services to verify that you’re in Shanghai.
– Each person can claim one voucher per platform for each batch. Meituan and Dazhong Dianping are considered as one platform.

Validity:
– Once claimed, vouchers will be stored in the platforms and are valid for 10 days from issuance.
5. How to use the vouchers
– The vouchers are limited to in-store dining and cannot be used for takeaway orders.
– Consumers dining in-store at participating restaurants will automatically receive a discount when paying through the platforms. The consumption voucher can be combined with platform and restaurant promotions. The voucher can only be applied when a single purchase amount meets the discount threshold after deducting platform and restaurant discounts.
– If consumers use dining vouchers to purchase group-buying deals, the validity period of the group-buying voucher will match that of the dining vouchers.
– The dining vouchers cannot be used for purchasing gift vouchers, prepaid top-ups, or other similar services.
