The Second Liangzhu Forum is set to kick off in Hangzhou on November 25-27, themed “Exchange & Mutual Learning for a New Model for Human Advancement”, gathering guests from 63 countries and regions all over the world. It sets up one main forum, three parallel forums, and three supporting activities. Internationally renowned scholars and artists jointly discuss topics, such as literature, archaeology, and music, to deepen the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries.
During the event, “Chinese Paintings in the Past Dynasties” Liangzhu Collection Museum will be open to the public, displaying the outstanding paintings of the Song Dynasty, becoming another national cultural landmark. In addition, at the forum, Liangzhu will be given the title of “International Archaeological Center” by the National Cultural Heritage Administration to promote the international cooperation in the field of archaeology.
