On November 17, Hangzhou International Airport added a new passenger flight route to and from Tashkent in Uzbekistan. This is Hangzhou’s second passenger flight route to and from Central Asia.
he route operates once a week with a round-trip duration of approximately 13 hours, reducing travel time by more than half compared to previous transit routes.
Tashkent is an important business hub on the ancient Silk Road, with abundant historical sites and modern features, regarded as a good place for outbound tourism. At present, Chinese citizens are permitted to stay in Uzbekistan for 10 days after visa-free entry.
This year, Hangzhou International Airport continuously expands the international aviation points. It has added and restored 10 international passenger transport points, bringing the total to 36.
