“A Dialogue between the Yangtze River and the Mississippi River” was held online on October 18. 43 students from Jianghan Daxing Road Primary School and Jessica, an American high school student and a volunteer of the Yangtze River finless porpoises joined the meeting. During the event, Jessica and her father Richard Mclaughlin, a visiting scholar of the Institute of Hydrobiology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered a presentation about freshwater dolphins and porpoises as well as aquatic ecosystem.
