Wuhan Tianhe Station, Han Yang Station, Yangtze River New Area Station, Wuhan New City Station… The number of Wuhan hub railway stations will expand from four to eight!
Yangtze River High-Speed Railway to have two new stations built in Wuhan
According to the latest plan, Wuhan will build new stations such as Wuhan Tianhe Station, Yangtze River New Area Station, and Wuhan Xincheng Station, forming a railway passenger station pattern of “five main stations (Wuhan Station, Hankou Station, Han Yang Station, Wuhan Tianhe Station, and Wuchang Station) and three auxiliary stations (Wuhan East Station, Yangtze River New Area Station, and Wuhan Xincheng Station).“
Before, the Wuhan Station, the HanKou Station, the Wuhan East Station, and the Wuchang Station were in operation. As the level of urban development in Wuhan has been raised, these four stations will be unable to meet the demands of passenger transportation in the future. It is imperative to open more railway passenger stations.
The design of Tianhe Railway Station in Wuhan has been unveiled, with many netizens looking forward to the completion of this railway station that can check-in passengers.
