Third runway of Wuhan Tianhe Int’l Airport put into operation

The third runway of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport was put into operation on Thursday.

The third runway is 3,200 meters long and 45 meters wide, with its construction period lasting only 31 months. The airport embraces three terminals and three runways, increasing its capacity to handle 63 million passengers per year.
