On January 23, more than 30 international students of China Jiliang University who came from over 10 countries such as Morocco and Bangladesh wrote Spring Festival couplets, drew panda images and made dumplings to celebrate the Little New Year in the Chinese lunar calendar.
SIMMAH from Morocco said: “This is the first time for me to celebrate the Spring Festival in China, and I feel very happy.”
USMONOV RUEAT from Uzbekistan who has been in China for many years said excitedly: “This year’s Spring Festival is the world festival, because Chinese Spring Festival has become a world intangible cultural heritage.” He also stated that China was his second hometown.
