For one thing, concerts promote cultural and tourism consumption. Hangzhou has held 107 concerts, ranking fourth in China luckily. This drives consumption of nearly 12 billion yuan of cultural and tourism goods.
For another, various international events significantly increase Hangzhou’s popularity. Hangzhou has hosted 28 international events and 70 national events, such as BWF World Tour Finals andICF Hangzhou Super Cup.
It can be seen that measures released by Hangzhou this year to promote the linkage of “concerts, events, exhibitions, commerce and travel” have taken effect.
