The first Wuhan Public Ice and Snow Season will be held from Winter Solstice, which falls on Dec. 21 this year, to Lantern Festival on Feb. 12, 2025, local authorities said on Tuesday.
The event’s main venue will lie in Wuhan Ganlu Mountain Cultural and Creative City, and the branch venues will be set up in nine skating rinks and three ski resorts in the city.
Meanwhile, a host of high-level ice and snow events, including the National Ski Open and the Asian Ice Skating Open, will also be organized during the event.
Local authorities will issue consumption coupons via the smartphone app “汉运动” and 13 ice and snow venues in the city.
