Beside Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Grand Canal Hangzhou Steelworks Site is accelerating the construction of the Grand Canal Hangzhou Steelworks Park to tansform the industrial site into the new cultural landmark.
The site is a representative of Hangzhou’s old industry. The construction project will preserve four major boilers and other industrial facilities, and build new public cultural facility, water recreation center, public transport hub. It is expected to be completed in February, 2028.
