On December 15, Chinese duo of Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong defeated Malaysian duo at HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024, and seized the champion of the mixed doubles event, winning four consecutive championships.
This duo has received many honors, including gold medal of Paris Olympic Games, three champions of the World Championships, No. 1 in the world’s list for 232 weeks, and four champions of HSBC BWF World Tour Finals.
This event is their last international competition. Claiming the championship title makes the farewell satisfactory. After the event, Zheng Siwei noted, “The fans on the site fueled our passion in competition, and Hangzhou brings good luck to us.”
